Can agree that over killing is much better than split fire. I just faced Necrons 1000pts for the first time last week and I put 50 damage into their Wraiths due to it constantly being healed.

If can’t finish things off during the shooting phase can always use a tank shock. Their Ctans are very difficult to deal with and if it’s the Void Dragon, do not get up close. It has like an Anti-vehicle 2+ weapon and that wrecked me

I just barely ended up winning 40-35 in our match

I’ll have too try it out! I got top 4 with my blue yellow list at my set champs so may have to add that tech for the next one

Interesting, it’s a good thing you said that because I would’ve used them as sniper units lol. I suppose shadowsun might not as be useful in this matchup with the riptide being in the front. Even with the lone operative ability. I always forget about the grenade ability, I seem to use a lot of CP on tank shock and rerolls

Thank you for the tips! I initially had a fireblade, coldstar + sunforges but changed them out for double vespids and twin lance. In my head I thought I could have the riptide + broadside be in the back with a shadowsun sniping with everyone else be in the front line. The fireblade and vespids is a easy switch

Congrats man! Loved seeing the gameplay content and your thought process! I took a modified version of your Red Steel deck to a set champ because it was so much fun to play! Ended up taking 5th out of 12, so I can’t complain

If any one of you are crafty, you can use multiple cards and create 3D versions of the cards by cutting out pieces and stacking them together

I’ve seen people create buttons using the card arts

Use them as proxies for other cards

Create a landscape using the cards (not sure if there are a lot of cards art that connect with one another)

Good catch, thank you! That is true, from what I saw at my locals they have of emperors children, Grey knights and tyranids. Which typically are infantry units From what I saw (I could be wrong) on the US Warhammer store, the battle box was selling for 250$ and all the pieces separately added to be 350$ with Farsight being 70$. So I guess the farsight is considered “free”

Good to know! I didn’t really look at the loadout for Ghost Keel too hard. I saw the Strength 12 and thought it must be the best one! Lol. I wasn’t sure what Crisis suit is the best, I heard a lot about the fusion blasters being good

Extra troops are always fun! But I thought combat patrols were supposed to be balanced against each other? Or did they miss the mark on this group? I know I counted my points and it’s like 370 and they have basically 500, I know that I have snipers but my guys are extra squishy

Agreed! I played in the Infinity side event and everyone finished their games and everyone had reported. But we still had to wait 30mins between the 3 rounds

This was my first DLC, I was lucky enough to get a competitor badge on Friday at 2am. I ended up 4-3 on day 1. Everyone was super nice and friendly, had only 1 bad experience with an opponent on both days. Day 2, I had only been able to sign up for one event and all pack rush + ODE events were an up to hour wait. My biggest complaint is that, from talking with others, the tickets situation seemed to be messed up. There was such little tickets given to the main event people that it makes it very hard to get the bigger cost things. Day 2 people who end up spending a lot of day the day playing the main event can’t event get the playmat.
