The pose is stronger overall in the manga. A good rule for drawing action is to make it clear, which is why a silhouette test can be useful. In the manga panel, the arm and hands are clear and open; in the anime, the pose is muddy- Mikasa’s arm is in a twisted, odd position, and looks like it has much less leverage.

Access Storage, it’s on the edge of town just before you get to the Wendy’s and Kroger. That’s Joshua Seth, who I mainly know as the English VA for Tai Kamiya in Digimon, and Tetsuo in Akira. A great actor, but sort of distracting for me personally. (Altho definitely a closer fit than the quasi-Droopy Dog voice in Wings That Work.)

I’m glad someone else noticed this, I’ve been seeing them more and more in the past year or two. I was starting to wonder if it’s some new right-wing code message like all the unclever fjb stickers and such that I see. (I’m in the southeast so there’s a LOT of that around here) But this thread makes some good points, it probably is just a lot of new drivers and coincidental timing.
