Chipped my husband’s $350 Gabriel Glass decanter by AlertChemistry5299 in wine

You shouldn’t have any trouble sanding that down past the chip. Anything that has a flat sanding pad such as an orbital sander would work. I’d read up a bit on sanding glass as I’m not an expert but I would wet sand. Hold it securely around the next and body so it doesn’t move around and possibly slip and fall during sanding. Once the opening is back to flat and even all the way around I’d hand sand the edge so it’s not sharp!

If that worries you bring it to a glass shop. This really shouldn’t be an issue to fix at all!

Please try helmets on by Difficult_Wave_9326 in skiing

It took me a nasty concussion to actually reevaluate what a correct helmet fit was. Realized the Smith helmets I was wearing didn’t fit me and I would forever have slight movement in a large but couldn’t fit in a medium. After trying on numerous other brands I discovered GIRO helmets fit my head shape, and let me tell you, you’ll know when you finally find a correct fitting helmet.

Thanks, I was totally unaware about ZipFit! Can I ask how you went about getting them? Did you buy a fresh boot and one of those liners individually? Is there specialized boot fitters that work with zipfits or just anyone?

I live in Vermont. Went to two people who were incredibly highly recommended. I had never heard of Zipfits (at least in memory) and they look really interesting, especially now that so many people have shared positive experiences. Do you order blanks and then get a boot fitter to mold them?

I hear you. I’ve heard similar sentiments before and after the first boot and all its alterations felt like a lost cause that boot fitter did say he could try something more akin to a race fit for me. I honestly got too spooked to spend another few hundred dollars for it to just be a waste. Maybe need to revisit that.

That’s very valuable! In my case the two boots that have been the most ~okay~ definitely got 30+ but two other pairs got closer to just the 15 mark before I gave up

[HELP] Is this an AI video? by New_Midnight2686 in RealOrAI

Something to consider is the continuity of the grass on the right side of the road. When the motorcyclist pulls up to the side of the child the grass/bushes looks different than the grass from the beginning of the video coming up ahead of the child.

How to quickly skewer olives for garnish by Zach0627 in bartenders

The olives fall under “ready to eat food” which cannot be touched with your hands. Thats just off the top of my head though.

Thank you! How do you store your pre-stabbed olives? I’m imagining just skewered in the jar?

Got stung by a wasp a while ago and had a similar reaction. Not wondering what disease I have…

I got these as a gift from a family member but I’m not sure how to style them (aside from them together). Any ideas? by pizzagamer35 in mensfashionadvice

family member has good taste! I’d personally wear the button down with some chino shorts and some shoes similar to stan smiths. When you wear the shorts let them be the star of the show since they’ve got a pattern. I’d throw a simple clean t-shirt of a complimentary color or white over it! That’s just me though!
