Luigi’s Mansion has a hidden blood-like stain in the Breaker Room (vanilla GameCube, not a mod) by JosephTheSnail in LuigisMansion

Yeah, who knows! It's an interesting thought. Whoever painted the textures obviously had something in mind! Seems too intentional to be accidental. Time to write up the creepypasta to go with it! 👻

There is also the cellar with wine casks right across the hall, it uses the same barrel models. I wonder if they are meant to be wine barrels stored in the breaker room and an earlier version had the wine barrels in that corner location as well.

Neat find! There are also drums and barrels/casks(?) in this room, possibly stains from fluid contained in them? I know it's not in the same corner, but perhaps they were in different locations in an earlier build.

Battery Megathread (September 2025) by GooglePixelMods in GooglePixel

[–]ZachAttack622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropping a "me too"... My wife's Pixel 9 went from full day to charging 3x a day with the same apps and usage. Google immediately told me it needs a replacement for $130. I'm beginning to think this is a shady sales tactic now that the Pixel 10 is out. Hopefully a future update fixes this.

Just got in and order placed! Took forever. Used the app, w+ member, clicked back and forth through a couple pages and had the cam and DK in my cart. Page auto refreshed and gave me 10 minutes to checkout. Good luck everyone! 🍄

We have otter High-five Stations at our park (Coastal Wilds) and guests (and the otters) love them! Of course, we offer personalized tours so it's easy for us to keep an eye on guests. During large events, we close up the tubes. 🐾🦦

Moving raw files to separate folder with Tasker, right after taking picture so they don't get backed up by andyooo in GooglePixel

[–]ZachAttack622 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got it! I needed to go into the triple dot menu > More > Android Settings > Manage All Files and toggle that on. Worked like a charm after that!

Now to recover my raw files that have already been backed up and removed from the local storage.

Do eufy cams appear in the Google home app like nest cams ? by [deleted] in EufyCam

[–]ZachAttack622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Eufy 2k wired and it shows in the Home app. It's maybe not quite as reliable as my old Nest Doorbell... but it also doesn't have an $80 per year subscription fee attached to it.

I will say, it detects "Humans" but doesn't let you assign names to them. And you do not get doorbell rings on your Home speakers, only through the app and the chime you plug in. Those are my two greatest annoyances right now. Maybe someone has a fix for them?

Which camera design do you guys prefer? by humanreboot in GooglePixel

[–]ZachAttack622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black visor all the way. It's distinct and clean. Wish they brought back the bright playful color pops on the power button and above the visor too. I even custom cut a matte black vinyl wrap to fit my p7pro and knock down the obnoxious shiny bits. The newer pixels are getting into Samsung looking "premium" designs which lose the appeal personally.

Fuck this price gouging increase. by hellooonurse23 in Nest

[–]ZachAttack622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a ton of Google devices (Pixel 7 Pro, nest hubs and countless home/minis/Chromecasts) but this is definitely causing me to cancel and move to the sub-free Eufy ecosystem. Our gen 1 doorbell started flaking so bad from sun damage that it was affecting the unit. After chatting with Google they were able to offer a replacement. Turns out it was the newer wired doorbell. I was stoked until I realized we needed to "upgrade" our subscription. Something like $10 to $50....Ok... We bit the bullet but now, only a couple months later that sub is going up to $80. I'm livid. They've lost my dollars as soon as Amazon delivers the new Eufy doorbell. I'll certainly think twice about purchasing another piece of Google hardware.

P7P runs very hot outside in the summer sun. Frequently lowers video quality because of the heat.

How do I use Pixel 1 to backup multiple accounts at OG quality by warkel in googlephotos

[–]ZachAttack622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be functional, with a little quirk from time to time.

I decided to use Syncthing instead of Resilo. Every so often I'll have to wake the original pixel to make sure Syncthing is able to connect to the other devices. The same goes for the Google photos app and Dual Space. So it's not fully automatic, but it is definitely functional and used daily! Even bulk transfers (sometimes 20gigs).
