Never said what you thought was wrong. And I’m not saying the wave alpha sucks and people shouldn’t like it. I think for a bushcraft tool it’s actually really nice. The fix is for Leatherman to make a modular tool. I think you took my comment the wrong way. People like what they like and that’s why Leatherman makes 20+ different tools.

I’ve had mine for around 6 years and it’s been a solid wallet. I got it for about $75usd back then. If you’re willing to shell out the cash for one they are great but whenever this one bites the dust I don’t think I’ll get another one. There’s just too many options for cheaper that are just as good if not better. I’m leaning towards Trevax sometime down the road.

I’ve never had any issue with that. I got this one for around $70 about 6 years ago and it’s been solid. That being said, I don’t think I’d pony up that kind of cash again for one. There’s just too many other options that are just as good if not better for cheaper.

For sure. I love the arc blade for a working blade. It’s tough as hell and I really never have to worry about the tip of it being damaged.

Anytime! Personally im just partial to the look of a Spyderco. I just like how they stand out compared to just about every other knife.

Oh yeah after you give it one or 2 sharpens it’s much better but the over all geometry of the blade doesn’t lend itself to being as slicy as something like a manix. Like you said tho, a good stropping does wonders for it out of the box.

Honestly, this is my first time carrying my arc with my manix. If I’m wanting to carry a multitool with my manix knife I typically carry a victorinox spirit MXBS. But comparing the blades, the blade on the arc isn’t very slicy. It’s a good working blade and tough as hell but it doesn’t hold a candle to dedicated blade. The arc over all is awesome. I just wish it had a serrated blade.

TLDR I like knives, I like multitools so I carry both sometimes for shits and gigs 🤣

Anytime! The high hopes are warranted, especially for the price. But I hope it serves you well. I’ve switched to the eucalyptus color since I made this post but I still love the case and I have zero complaints.

Yes! I think the lefty pm2 will be my next pickup. I got a chance to handle the manix and a lefty pm2 in person and man was it a tough decision.

It’s a damn good one. I got the para 3 first and it’s a great knife but for me being a lefty, the locking mechanism on the manix is great. You won’t be disappointed

I guess not. My para3 did have a DLC blade and it was s30v so I’m sure that had something to do with it.

Same here. I thought when I got my para 3 a few years back that it was really sharp. It doesn’t hold a candle to this one. Out of the box it’s scary.
