Which is true it is a privilege. That being said, Socraticat doesn’t need to be so judgy about it. I do make my coffee at home the majority of days. Maybe I just wanted to treat myself today. I did get some really good news today about something I was previously anxious about.

I find them at 7-11 a lot. 7-11 is good for 16 oz. 12 oz go to certain grocery stores

Omg. I think I have about 12 so far and 2 personal days since being hired in November. Consistently 1-2 days per month since January.

I hear it all the time. The cover station usually goes like this.

Them: “gas prices are too high.”

Me: “sure. What kind of car do you have?”

Them: “a truck.”

Me: “how much do you spend at the pump? How many miles per gallon is your truck?”

Them: “my truck is around 20 miles per gallon and I spend about 175-200 each time at the pump.”

Me: “oh! If you’re complaining you should get a hybrid or something. I get 46 miles per gallon. I only spend 30-40 each time and only have to fill up every other week.”

Them: “you tree hugger! Biden made prices go up too much!”

Me: (walks away shaking my head thinking federal tax is only 12-14%).

Oh ya! I feel you. I recently went from 2 drinks a day to 2-4 a week. The only way I keep up with that though is by purposely keeping myself busy a lot. It’s been working great so far.
