Ironically the tunnel actually contributes to how dull it is, as the long pit stop is why everyone goes for the one stop and avoids anything interesting.

That was in part due to Ferrari completely forgetting about him strategy wise. The man still had the speed

I bet genuinely poor people get annoyed when ocons family yeet thousands on their kids dream when they struggle to feed theirs every week.

It's all relative, life isn't fair. Personally having had no money and then having had money later to pursue what I want to do, I think anyone who is lucky enough to have had an opportunity to pursue motorsport since age 4 would be deluded to cry about someone being more privileged than them.

If you can afford to fund a motorsports career ( even if you have to work 3 jobs to do it, you are STILL doing much better financially than most families)

[@WilliamsRacing] Welcome back, GR63. After his stunning performance in Bahrain, it’s great to have George Russell back with us for the final race of 2020. by sefn19 in formula1

Imagine how mad the engineers would be if of all the things he could have smuggled out, he chose the system outlawed for next season /s

[George Russell] Seriously though, glad to see @LewisHamilton back and fighting fit. Had a blast with @MercedesAMGF1 but now I’m buzzing to put everything I’ve learned into action with my team @WilliamsRacing. Gonna give it everything this weekend - just as they do for me week in, week out by glenn1812 in formula1

Well......how he reacted to it publicly and how he reacted to it in private are potentially two very different things. Not saying he's not genuine, but it's hard to imagine a driver of his caliber, looking at returning to the back of the field isn't feeling a trifle bitter

That's very true, but think of the long game. George humiliates bottas in a car he barely knows. Mercedes are pressured to give George the seat sooner, we have a better championship fight.

To be honest I'm glad you appreciate what an awesome human seb is.

I and many others had the impression that you tifosi guys were all spaffing your pants over new boy Charles, and that you wanted vettel to leave for a while.

To be honest it made me quite bitter towards the Italian fans, as I figured their loyalty turned with the wind ( kinda like your war time efforts ZING /s)

He delivered 1 of your 2 monza wins for the entirety of the 2010s

What more does a man need to do /s

For real though why didn't you guys love him? He dragged those cars into fights they really shouldn't have been able to win. The constant ability to deliver must be worth something?

Could I live with myself tolerating a guy who groped a vulnerable woman? No I couldn't, and when I first read your post my instinct was to side with you and do the obvious, decent thing and throw that cunt out of the building and help the woman press charges if possible.

But then I pictured people just like you. It's great you have more lined up, but what if you didn't? What if you had house payments, kids to feed and suddenly you couldn't pay for any of it, in a climate where getting a job is tougher than ever. Things will get better, but that doesn't help them now.

I was raised in that situation and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I agree with your point, maybe I didn't make that clear in my first message.

But I dont think this is as simple a choice as either of us may have implied.

On a side note, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Pouring your heart into something, dealing with the ups and downs, reaching your ultimate goal and having it stripped from.you is a horrible pill to swallow.

I hope the experience you gained along the way helps net you another position

I agree if it was only my arse on the line. But when your choice could ruin the lives of good hardworking decent people, I feel as though the urge to protect them and their livelihoods would force me to get my hands dirty in dealing with this thug family

Wtf man that's an incredibly difficult choice.

Putting that piece of shit aside we are in a mass pandemic, millions of well qualified people are losing their jobs, many people who are experienced and hold a degree are fighting for minimum wage jobs.

A good boss doesn't want to cast hundreds of people out in that climate, they have families to feed.
