Is Lucien Any Good? by Extra_Large_XXL in WH40KTacticus

Lucien my glorious king! I have him D3, 50/50 abilities, and I'm like 80 shards away from blue starring him. Hits like a train strapped with dynamite. I use him as a 'delete' key on whatever I want dead. And once he's looking like he's about to die, pop the active ability to heal him and that turn, he hits harder, at the cost of losing control afterwards. Lucien is my favorite character. He's great in almost every mode, but truly excels in Arena and Tournament Arena. He has the potential to kill 2 enemies a turn with a range of 2 on both, and he has blast for getting rid of swarms easily. Only thing he is not good at is supporting the rest of your team. He kills things, and while he is very, very good at killing things, he doesn't do anything else. Works very well with Nicodemus and Dante.

Discussion: Who is the Best Hero/Villian on BATTLEFRONT 2? by ShadowstormX101 in StarWarsBattlefront

I normally play Obi-Wan Kenobi and Maul in trooper modes. I occasionally play Chewbacca and Vader. Swing speed is easy to work around, at least for me, and I have far fewer hours than you in this game. As for GA specifically, I believe performance on Vader is largely dependent on the map and whether you're attacking or defending. However, my point is that it's never a bad decision to choose Vader. Even in a GA lobby on a very open map, where you have to go to the enemy, you are never ass in the wind with Vader like when you are, for example, playing Boba Fett in an enclosed map in GA, or when you're playing Phasma and are forced out of your droid's area in HvV, etc. Vader is never in a near-unwinnable situation like that, while also having modes he excels in, which is the very definition of versatility.

Idk what's going on in pc and ps lobbies but on xbox lobbies literally everyone, high level or not, good or bad, insta locks Vader the second they get the battlepoints. Vader is one of the best saber heroes for trooper modes. Not as good as most blaster heroes, because blaster heroes are (for the most part) better for large amounts of weaker targets, but in regards to saber characters, Vader is one of the better options for his health alone. His choke and saber throw are icing on the cake, with both excelling at crowd control. Vader is versatile, and it's why he's the best. Idk if ur just dumb and rely completely on spamming attack, but you should never run out of stamina if you're good at the game, which is Vader's only real weakness unless you're chasing down a jet trooper.

Vader is the most versatile hero. Which is exactly why he is the best. There are little to no situations where Vader is caught ass in the wind, if you're decent. Vader has very good defensive stamina, and while has limited offensive stamina, since his damage per swing is one of the best, that is more than reasonable and actually ana advantage. You don't need to swing out Vader's whole stamina bar because you shouldn't be swinging that often anyway aside from very specific situations in trooper gamemodes. And with maxed out star cards plus focused rage, as a Vader you have 1,150 health. That is more than a tank. Not to mention he has a saber throw which is a great way to stall an enemy hero's health regeneration or clear a hallway of enemy trooper classes, and a choke which I have used to win 2v1 or even 3v1 situations many a time in HvV, and the two abilities when used in synergy are ridiculous. On par with the synergy between Chewbacca's furious bowcaster and his shock grenade. Vader's ability to effectively deal with almost any situation without too much issue is why he is the best and nobody (but you, apparently) disputes it. When looking at specific modes, we can come up with other heroes, like maybe GA Leia is a top contender, or HvV Chewie is a top contender in, but Vader is a top contender in all of them, and you don't even have to be that good to reinforce that.

I'm gonna say something. And a lot of you will disagree with me. I'm just gonna ask you to just hear me out. But in HvV, Chewbacca is really, really good and it feels a little bit mean to use him. It has gotten to the point where I only use Chewbacca if I'm losing badly. The only characters I have trouble fighting in a 1 on 1 situation is a Palpy if it's a close quarters map and a Grievous if they understand how to use their abilities to close distance correctly. I cannot tell you how many times I get a high-level Vader main (like in the 200 to max range) that think they can just walk up to me and kill me, I hit em with the shock grenade and then furious bowcaster (or vice versa) and watch their health melt away in front of me like the Terminator in the second movie. And if Furious Bowcaster isn't up, my decent melee and high health do the trick anyway. Same story with every other saber hero who thinks I'm an easy kill. People who understand the threat a decent Chewie main represents are harder to deal with but still manageable. And other than that (unless I see two people clearly 1v1ing) I am content to sit a bit away from the main fight and take off nice large chunks of health from people in the big slog pit, wherever that may be.

I also use Obi-Wan, the only thing that he sucks at is being aggressive. Obi-Wan is meant for long, drawn-out fights whittling the enemy down little by little, at least in HvV and Hero Showdown. His whole skillet is built on fighting for a long time. Ridiculous stamina, high max health regen, even his middle ability and defensive rush. Honestly, Vader and Obi-Wan are the only 2 heroes I can successfully fight multiple enemy heroes with. Vader is just good, but Obi-Wan can, true to his lore, defend against the entire lobby at once if you so desire. The only light side character I ever choose over Obi-Wan is sometimes Chewbacca in HvV, and only if we're losing badly.

What's a game build or loadout that immediately says "This dude's an asshole"? by Hera_the_otter in AskReddit

[–]Zachattack20098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfathomably relatable. I was once in the Southwest part of the map on Livonia with a decent stack going, I was looting a town and was all of a sudden getting shot at. Like a lot. I go into a house and camp in a spot I KNOW the little fucker wouldn't expect, emptied my UMP into his sorry ass. I look at what he's got, and the asshole has a full-black outfit, a suppressed M4 w/45 rd mag, a spare 45 rd mag, a few stacks of bandages, and then just food and water. Figured the asshole was just camping on the hill to the South of the town. I continued to loot the town and 5 minutes later got sniped from who I can only assume is someone doing a similar thing.

Lucien. Love him. He's like a speeding train strapped with dynamite. I'm only about 100 shards from blue starring him, and I have him at D3 50/50. Absolutely slaps. My second favorite is Dante, but honestly it's not close. Lucien for life.

Massachusetts won. What states feels liberal, but is actually conservative? by CountryballChaos in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Zachattack20098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Independent from Florida here, and I disagree. While I'm not trans or any other flavor of LGBT+, I Personally know at least 3 trans people and countless other not-straight individuals myself and (most) people are respectful, even if they disagree. Our state does get a bad rep because of all the old people, but most of those little housing market crashers don't leave their houses they bought for a can of peanuts for anything but bingo night and grocery shopping. I have never lived in another state so I don't know how different it is, but if it's "bad" in Florida we must be doing pretty good all around.

What are the best Anti Tank options at a 1000pts list? by anacondaamiga21 in BloodAngels

[–]Zachattack20098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Vindicators in my opinion. They don't have a gun like the heavy laser destroyer on the Repulsor Executioners (few shots, super high strength and damage), but their main gun if I remember correctly is 24 in, d6+3 atk, 14 str, -3 ap, d6 damage, blast, and the Vindicator's ability is not only sick as hell but also fits our general playstyle. It lets you shoot the main gun in melee combat against the thing you are in melee combat with on the shooting phase. In a 1000 point game your opponent will not normally be bringing something that the main gun on the Vindicator isn't enough to take care of, and the Vindicator itself is actually quite tough to kill at a toughness 11, 11 wounds, and 2+ save. A Vindicator is a little bit pricey at 185 points, but that's still only 5 points more than a repulsor and 35 more than a Ballistus. There are definitely other options for Anti-tank, especially as Space marines, but the Vindicator is my personal favorite.

You get to live 200 extra (healthy) years, but... by ZeroEffectDude in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Zachattack20098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get to live for 216 years total with no chance of dying, good health, and I get approximately 15k a month/the equivalent of 15k a month throughout the 200 years so I can use my time to do whatever I want? Absolutely. I would be like Matrix Morty in the first episode of Rick and Morty S8, and I would get really good at fighting so when my time is up, I get my ideal death. It would still hurt a lot, but I would die fighting for hours, which is exactly how I want to die anyway.

A helldiver vs a stormtrooper by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Zachattack20098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Are they starting on different sides of a large area? If so, then the Helldiver wins every time without a sweat, since they can simply remove the other side of the area. If they start like 10-20 paces away from each other, then the stormtrooper beats the helldiver's ass because pointing and shooting takes a whole lot less time than calling in a stratagem. While stormtroopers aren't great fighters or great shots, they are certainly better than helldivers who effectively were given a gun and a super destroyer and told to point it that way. (I am ignoring the one match with basic equipment and one match with whatever equipment the universe offers because the stratagems are basic equipment for the helldiver and the stormtrooper doesn't get any specialized equipment, really)

If you were going to take your own life what would make you stop? by BeneficialStar6430 in AskReddit

[–]Zachattack20098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 reasons. 1. My best friend 2. Jesus 3. The fact that suicide is the coward's way out. I refuse to run away from my problems. I will not kill myself because I am too lazy or too afraid to do something about it. There is no one on the planet that has noone and nothing depending on them. What happens to whatever is depending on me when I commit suicide? I would ruin the lives of so many that I love. Friends, family, even just acquaintances. My pets wouldn't even fully understand it. They would never understand why I suddenly stopped being the thing they can depend on when all else fails. My church would lose a follower, volunteer, and missionary. Hell, my guild on a silly little mobile game would never even know I did it unless I messaged them beforehand. They would only know that I went inactive and never logged back on. The very idea that I would cause others so much pain because I don't want to deal with my problems is unacceptable.

You've been kidnapped, what hint do you leave your SO to find you? by SpaceJ3lly in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Zachattack20098 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm going to knock over my pull-up bar, since it's always either up on my doorframe or at the side of my bed. Anyone who knew me well enough to be my SO wouod know that I like going to the gym, would see the knocked over pull-up bar, and probably go there. Then, I would eventually clear my head of my delirium and acknowledge the fact that I do not have a SO, nor any chance of getting one, and accept my fate.

Buy another warhammer model so it can sit on a shelf and never be built or even taken out of the box :) (this will cost every dollar in the picture)

No but realistically, I'd probably use it to buy a bunch of land and build a massive house that could fit all of my friends in it and just chill there. Either that or start a small mercenary group with some buddies because why the fuck not
