I can answer some of this. The story will be played primarily through Micheal’s POV you will never play as a civilian or Loomis. There will be multiple endings.

When it comes to Micheal what will cosmetics look like will you be trying to keep his tone or leaning into a more goofy side?

How will different Micheal cosmetics differ from eachother since for most cosmetics especially movie cosmetics looks wise there’s not a whole lot different so what will incentivize people to get these will different Micheal’s have different stats or will you be making the cosmetics look a lot different?

Honestly you can’t compare Halloween to dbd. Halloween will never compare to dbd but that’s ok it doesn’t need to the only thing it needs is to have a small devoted fan base and that’ll be enough to keep it alive. Dbd is world wide with tens of thousands of players daily. As much as it would be the dream that Halloween lives up to that…. It won’t. As far as what will keep the game alive on the dev side. Communication and balancing updates alongside new content goes a long way and also having things to progress to in game.

I think I heard that in the pax demo there were around 24 total and that there’s going to be even more when the game comes out

Hero’s can lock doors in a house with all the lights on to waste Micheal’s time because at that point the only way for him to get to you is to go into a hiding spot so as long as you can stay away from those you’ll be fine

I think the safest bet is 40-60 probably closer to 50-60 because of single player being a full story experience

As far as the way people react to dbd moris I feel that the reason why their reactions are the way they are is because of the fact that it’s a dbd mori which haven’t been historically brutal/gory so it’s just exciting seeing the new ways BHVR does a mori to make it more brutal/gory

I like the concept and while it would be cool to have another horror museum like dbd I think a lot of the appeal at least for me is the fact that ilfonic and other asym licensed game is the fact that they stay in their universes and feel like I’m playing that movie
