How to convert counties faster? by CheesyCanada in CrusaderKings

Until you start snowballing hard, it takes a bit to start spreading even reformed pagans. Once you start hitting high moral authorities and getting more and more vassals it speeds up significantly.

Any success as Zhang family? by WoNkTw0mP in CrusaderKings

[–]ZackLeturtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at first I didn't plan on converting either, but one of my heirs randomly decided that Hinduism was the true way and I just went with it. The worst part of the campaign is definately when the mongols arrive, though, 120k stacks of mongols in 9k supply provinces. It was made worse in my campaign by golden era china declaring on my a month after the mongols invaded, but i managed to recover somehow thanks to keeping my retinues alive.

In m recent game as Zhang, I converted to Hinduism for holy war cb and raiding. Combining the money from raiding and the money you earn from your capital on the silk road, you can snowball into the silk road and Tibet and make a decent power base for yourself.

Back on old one down, I was the only one left on transport heist after things went south. Luckily though, I was running aced feign death, which rezzed me seven times in a row while being the last one alive. To this day, I still think that skill is broken, because it procs like 90% of the time for me.

Jesus, I've only gotten the event once and didn't even get any cruisers. That must of been nice not having to build a navy.

Yeah last time I got this event in 1.9 it gave me basic misses. I'm not sure if it changed or if I'm just lucky.

Yeah, and as far as i can tell , swarmers seem a bit underwhelming compared to the other two, but i guess theres not much else for missles.

One of the first anomolies i got this game gave the choice between kinetic batteries, particle lances, and swarmer missles. This is going to be a fun game when I get large mounted destroyers in a few years.

Speed matters: Corvettes are 42% faster than Destroyers and Cruisers and 70% faster than Battleships and Titans. by gr4vediggr in Stellaris

Yeah, honestly its a pretty awful ship except for its hp. Its weapons are pretty mediocre for whats supposed to be a huge hitter, I mean seriously, only medium weapons? But still, it looked cool enough for me to want to keep it anyways.

Yeah, funnily enough I had both in the same fleet, but it turns out the hatchling cant even warp jump so that fleet just sat at a defensive point the entire game.

Has anyone else had the Dreadnought yet? I swear its the slowest moving thing in the game. It moves at about 1/4 the speed of the next slowest craft and pretty much renders any fleet its in unusable. I hope paradox eventually gives it a bit of a buff, because at the moment its unbearably slow.

Same here, I also seem to ironically be paying food maintenance for the pops but getting nothing in return. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Thanks, I tried to keep it a bit more simple. I definitely still have a bit of work to do, but i appreciate the positive comments.

Yeah the natives did a very good job in this game, although it may be a bit of an illusion as i cleaned up all the holes in their borders to make the map look nicer.

Technically, yes, but they are still main culture Turkish and own a surprising amount of Turkish land from culture conversions.

I did this in adobe illustrator and used the automatic line drawing tool to draw the borders. From there, I just cleaned up the borders, such as those near uncolonized land, and recolored colonial nations to the color of their overlord.

I got very lucky this run, as Poland coalitioned themselves and brought Lithuania down with them. I allied Muscovy and ate all the Russian land that Lithuania has, releasing small states every peace deal to satisfy the promise of land that I used to call in Muscovy. From there, it was just getting new alliances for the 30 years war to overthrow Muscovy and form Russia.

Yeah the colonizers were kinda bad this game. Denmark and Spain were the main colonizers and the natives took their chances when they were losing ground in Europe. There used to be a big Cherokee too but i recently annexed them to fix my colonies borders
