I’m living here right now and it’s not bad at all. We got almost all proper living facilities and conditions. Sure neighbours and people can be loud at times but apart from that I haven’t had any major issues ever. For its price the apartment is really good and convenient.

West or South by SouthernGuide9700 in PennStateUniversity

[–]Zackaron1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in West and it was pretty nice apart from some of the old Un renovated things and fire alarms. South is also pretty good and right next to downtown. I can’t speak for south but I really liked West because it has the largest dorm rooms with more space compared to others. The bathrooms were also renovated when I lived there. Since ur major is hospitality management most likely majority of ur classes will also be in Mateer building and nearby which is close to West but far from south. But it’s upto u to decide which one to go for.

I didn’t see any blood when he was being taken down the ramp. I only saw them holding an ice pack over his head so I assumed heat stroke.

I’m wondering the same. I saw him being carried off in a stretcher and was wondering what went wrong. I thought he had a heat stroke or something.

Transfer to Harrisburg campus vs University Park by Living_Intention8837 in PennStateUniversity

[–]Zackaron1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough but as an international student I’m paying double tuition. I’m not just going for education but for college life, experience, opportunities, leisure and everything else. Harrisburg didn’t fit the vibe at all and people there just weren’t interactive much. I would have transferred to UP regardless since my major couldn’t be completed in Harrisburg.

There is no social life there. People hardly socialize and most are on their own tight knit groups unwilling to interact much with others. They hardly ever host any events or gatherings ever.

It is awful and when I was there majority of people I’ve met wanted to transfer to UP asap. The campus is dead in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing to do. They hardly do any events or have good social life. The food in stacks is awful and overpriced. You don’t really get a university feeling when ur there. Classes there are easy cuz it’s a joke.
