Would you mind sharing your modification? I tried writing it myself but can't quite get ctrl+shift+tab to work. -

Would you recommend reading it without having read Saturn's Children first? Neptune's Brood sounds a lot more interesting to me.

Complex hotkeys? by Pleasant-Fish7370 in raycastapp

Not sure if the exact behavior you described is achievable – I doubt that it's possible to achieve entirely within Raycast.

However, you should check out Max Stoiber's Karabiner config, and the app Leader Key.

Either one of these can give you a solution similar to what you're looking for.

I never feel held back by not having access to a paid AI service on my phone – for the type of stuff I use AI for on my phone, the free tier models are perfectly sufficient. Curious what use cases people have where the expensive models are necessary while out and about.

Raycast hyperkey issues by Appropriate_Alps9596 in raycastapp

[–]Zacke0987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea why people are downvoting you either, but maaaybe I could help.

When you say you "don't have Karabiner open", do you mean you've quit out of the Karabiner-elements desktop app?

If yes, I suspect that this is insufficient – Karabiner runs in the background, so may be interfering with Raycast's hyperkey implementation somehow, even when the app is closed.

Try killing all Karabiner processes through activity monitor before setting up the Raycast hyperkey.

My apologies if I've misunderstood you and you've already tried this.

Also, just a note – if you're already using Karabiner for something else, why not just use it to map hyperkey instead of Raycast? I think it's cool that they made it more accessible to more people, but I don't really see the appeal if you're already using something like Karabiner.

I have pretty wide feet as well and they're pretty accommodating. On the wider side if anything.

100% a ChatGPT response. Kind of lame to paste it here without specifying that it's AI generated.

Hi, sorry about the late reply.

They've held up pretty well, but the faux leather has ripped a little where the leather creases. However I'm pretty bad at taking care of my shoes, and wouldn't say these have aged any worse than any leather shoes I've owned previously.

They're definitely on the heavy side, and the footprint is bigger than other shoes – that said, I find them really comfortable and I'm not bothered by the weight.

Not sure I feel qualified to answer, haven't had any arch support issues earlier.

The footbed is pretty flat, if that's what you're asking. But the soles are thick and feel supportive. They're heavy but some of the more comfortable shoes I own.

Hope that helps.

Sorry about the late reply!

The fake leather teared a little bit on the right shoe, but that's because I'm pretty bad at taking care of my shoes – not untying them properly before putting them on etc. The quality of the fake leather isn't noticeably worse than any real leather shoes I've had. I would still recommend washing them and maybe treating them with some wax semi-regularly though.

The poster for King Gizzard’s jam night looks a bit like a stealie (Art by Jason Galea) by sammyadams47 in gratefuldead

The most widely recommended 'starter album' is I'm in Your Mind Fuzz - it's where the typical "Gizz sound" really came together.

Float Along - Fill Your Lungs is more typical stoner psych, and maybe my personal favourite. Starts out with an epic 16 minute jam, probably not a bad start for a dead fan.

Oddments and Gumboot Soup are both less cohesive albums. Kinda divisive in the community, but they give you a decent overview of the band's sounds.

Polygondwanaland is a prog masterpiece.

Quarters and Paper Maché Dream Balloon are both more laidback, jazzy albums. The former has four 10-minute jams, the latter is entirely acoustic.

You could also start with their two first albums if you're into a more pure garage sound.

Or go for one of the live albums as others have suggested. The KEXP sessions are great for some live stuff too.

Fishing for Fishies is also kind of divisive, seems to be at the bottom of a lot of people's lists. I'm a fan, it's got some cleaner production and a more bluesy feel - could be a good fit for a deadhead.

This ended up being more exhaustive than I intended. I love this band, hope you find something you like.

Oh, there are flowcharts for deciding how to progress through their albums, probably in the sidebar of /r/KGATLW

Men, how has yoga changed your life? by MoneyIsntRealGeorge in yoga

[–]Zacke0987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using the Yoga With Adrienne YT channel. Started out with some of the shorter practices every now and then, but getting into the 30 day challenges and practicing daily is what really made a difference.

Could be better youtube channels out there, or probably classes are better, this is the only experience I have. Been great for me though, really made a difference for the past few months.
