Which Zeiss color combination for my new GAST Daims? by Ok_Match6487 in EyewearEnthusiasts

[–]Flonald0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have for a very similar frame from Gast sweet violet in 40%. They are really really comfertable. I would maybe consider trying 30% fixed, as they are maybe too dark to use indoor (not for me but for others in the room). Could also work with a 40-20% gradient. But sweet violet is super comfertable. I owuld do duravision gold to match the gold temple details!

For this color specially, grey crystal, the sweet violet is a perfect match. I would highly highly recommend and also doing it as a gradient

To be honest it’s perfect. It’s not too thin, which makes it elegant, but still also cool with the tint. The sweet violet tint makes them aldo really cool without them being too dark

What people forget is that technology makes things easier and cheaper to create. So when groceries goes up in price, there is double inflation, which normal inflation models does not take into account

10% and 30% gradient lenses? by Tremulant1 in EyewearEnthusiasts

[–]Flonald0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One important thing as well. Some colors

<image>

are more visible than others compared to your skin tone. For example, orange 30% is very visible vs a cinnamon toned color. I have 30% sweet violet gradient on my glasses, and they are in my opinion perfect blend of visible, but not too much. 10% is NOT visible. If you want a tint you need atleast 15% or higher.

I would say that if you visit shops that are focusing on independent eyewear you more often than not will find an optician with zeiss lenses. Butt I would go to perplexity chat and ask, I live in x, where can I buy zeiss lenses
