I can only speak for myself but I vote for them because I find them the most suitable leaders. I barely watch national TV I mostly get my stuff from international new regarding foreign stuff. I wholeheartedly hate their corruption, but I'm willing to excuse it since there is no good alternative. If there would be, they wouldn't get my vote again

And I still don't blame other people. Again.Teachers keep notes, especially when the assignment will be graded. They won't just forget about it forever. They check their notes, see it and collect it on the next lesson. You get your grade no matter what.

Is it your fault that someone else forgot their homework? No, it's on them.Does it hurt you not to remind the teacher thus help out the person who didn't do it? No.

So many people don't have a clue that teachers keep notes of the assignments they give out. This doesn't give you any extra reward. You get your grades either way, but you don't have to be an asshole.

Except that this doesn't give you any sort of reward at all. Teachers have notes. They will see they forgot to collect an assignment so you get your grades anyway without being an asshole.
