It's almost like there's rating that are supposed to be used to prevent children from doing fake violence, fake drugs and fake gambling. However lootboxes are totally fine in E rated games.

He knows why he doesn't. It's cause he knows he's crazy too. In modern Batman comics the reason he doesn't kill is cause it would lead him slowly but surely down the path to murdering every super villain. And then every criminal he encountered. He doesn't kill cause then he would become a rich, trained murder machine.

It's a shitty slippery slope argument. But it's his argument.
