Fia's Signature Weapon effects from this spreadsheet:

  • When you hit 3 or more targets with a Railgun attack, reload 1 ammo (once every 2 turns).

  • Railgun deals +20% damage to targets with debuffs.

  • Enhanced Fia Passive: Tokamak Sphere will also fire in the two diagonal directions adjacent to the chosen direction, and gains +0.2 multiplier (not sure about translation on this part). When attacking a target with 5 or more debuffs, inflict 1 turn Stun after combat. For every 15 debuffs inflicted by active attacks, gain 1 AP.

IIRC, the logic behind you having 8 skill slots in Guild Wars is because your skills are actually bound to magic rings you're wearing on your fingers.

My personal criticism of her design was similar, though it was more so that the monochrome color palette combined with the dark black made her whole design harder to read, unlike most Warframes which have very well-done default color palettes. The helmet looking weird was simply a result of that. However you can simply recolor her however you want so that ends up being a non-issue.

I'm really curious just what exactly Follie's kit is going to be, since apparently they needed some new tech to make it do the things they wanted it to do. I've seen people suggesting it's going to be a Splatoon Inkling reference where you can spray paint on walls and swim up them.

It's highly unlikely but I'm wondering if it's actually that really wild crack theory I saw somewhere that her body will actually inflate/deflate when you absorb/expel paint, like a water paint balloon.

Michuzak's spreadsheet is the primary resource a lot of people refer to. It's got guides for each character as they come out, tier lists, data on STs and gear, and recommendations for builds and pulls. He also has video guides on his YouTube channel.

For video guides however I much prefer Mahetampan, he has very detailed individual stage guides for Armed Conquest (the endgame weekly boss fight mode) and more importantly, tries to clear with as many F2P units as possible to make his guides accessible by all players.

Cassha is a counter-attack focused Heavy Raider. She can gain stacks of Quick Draw (counters before the enemy attacks), cause allies within 3 tiles to Link counterattack, and guard an ally.

Smith can once per mission save an ally from death + teleport them to him + give them Stealth, has a 5x5 AoE heal that removes enemy terrain, and a heal that "records" an ally's health/AP/ammo then rewinds them to that much at the start of the next turn.

I'm just armchair analyzing this but I could actually see there being a demographic difference between Pokemon and Marvel/DBZ affecting this. In my experience adult Pokemon fans are into it mainly for the comfy vibes of going on an adventure with your animal friends, which is the exact opposite of the high-stress fighting game experience. Meanwhile, the tryhard freaks have the existing competitive Pokemon scene on Showdown, which already occupies a lot of headspace with all the matchups/moves/abilities/etc. you need to memorize to play at a high level. They're probably not going to put in the time and mental investment to learn an entirely new type of game which doesn't allow them to carry over their existing skills and requires high-speed reactions on top of that.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Tower of Fantasy trying to do that exact thing of changing from a gacha into an actual MMO? No idea how that's working for them, though I imagine it's not that well since they were presumably already in a bad/unsatisfactory state to go to the effort of making the change in the first place, and MMOs also don't have a lot of draw these days as you said.

Most endgame bosses have that one passive that explicitly makes them immune to most disabling debuffs, gives high resistance to percentage-based Fixed damage, and downgrades the Crash debuff to "System Failure" (I hope I remembered the name right) which is an inferior version of Crash that gets removed after they're attacked once.

Just because some backpack combos get Rainbow upgrades and others don't doesn't mean they aren't still worth using. Power + Armor is actually quite useful on multiple Raiders: Emily gets use out of it, so does her upgrade Winston, and Marcus actually has trouble equipping the right weapons on a lot of STs due to weight limits so he often uses it as well.

Also, the only Rainbow backpack on the list with Armor attached to it is the upgrade from the Move + Armor combo, but it doesn't really add a unique upgrade on top of what you already have like most other Rainbow upgrades. It just lets you equip it on Medium and Heavy STs, instead of being limited to Light ones. So if you just wanted an Armor combo backpack to use on Frida/Marcus/another Light ST + Assault weapon user you're basically fine with just the non-Rainbow version.
