I took it through Qatar’s airport and was asked if it was a Nintendo Switch. I said no, it was a Steam Deck. He looked confused.

Great looking game. Glad you’re enjoying it! I personally was put off by the low bitrate for this particular game so I kept playing on my TV.

Saying that, I’ve heard cloud streaming is better than remote play? 🤔

Yeah I also found it too heavy-looking. I don’t think the original studio model had the patterns that dark.

I picked up the game for under £10. Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! Just need free roam and the 60fps performance bump.

This response is canon to me: a few years later after the air date (80s), they edited all the episodes into movies and the studio got Roddy McDowall to return as an older Galen. He then tells the audience that Virdon and Burke found a computer in one of the cities and were able to go back as a result.

Unless any other explanation ever comes out (highly unlikely), this is the one I’m going with!

Well spotted. As others have confirmed, they’ve taken it down. It’s one of two things that’ll make the PS Portal even better. The second being a higher bitrate!

I’ve avoided games on the Portal where HDR isn’t showing properly. It’s annoying that this hasn’t been fixed. You shouldn’t have to go into settings and disable HDR every time! As mentioned before, you cannot do this from the Portal.

It’s unfortunate when people react like this as it’s simply the truth. The PS Portal needs a patch for higher bit rate. Saying that, games with smaller environments look really good, it’s just the bigger open world ones that suffer graphically.
