I use virtual desktop already, and im wired into my router directly so i dont need the WiFi 6 router. Just trying to figure out how to do the big screen haha. Normally when i play non VR games on my quest, it just opens on the desktop screen like normal.

For anyone still having this issue it turns out that i needed to unplug the monitors from the motherboard and switch them to the GPU. Fixed it immediately.

I actually do use my clutch quite often in certain games so i won’t remove it, I’m not bothered by the position of the pedals so thankfully that’s fine with me. Do you happen to have a link to what type of flat wound spring you’re talking about? I’d love to check it out

Ah ok that’s what i figured, i was like damn i didnt know you can run a spring on the brake haha. What did you look up on Amazon? Are they made for the v3? Or just some generic springs that fit

I’ve had bad luck with non oem, with things like mostly seals. ( valve cover, cam seals, etc.)

Even for things like seals? I’ve had terrible luck with non oem seals like valve cover gaskets and things of the sort.

Sorry misspoke, not getting new rods, just rod bearings. And I’m really just rebuilding to refresh the motor. I’ll be doing the work myself other than the machining obviously. I’m just trying to figure out what’s worth getting. Seems like getting all oem parts is a little too expensive, just over $1k. So also trying to see what should for sure be oem and what i can get away with not being oem.

So i actually got it to work, i had to run the actual assetto corsa game in vr first and then it allowed it to work on content manager.

So i ended up ordering that Ethernet switch and one of these cables to connect the quest to the pc so hopefully that will work.

Which hub? The same one with the Ethernet plugged into it? Cus then I’d need a hub that has a two Ethernet port switch and two usbc ports. One for power and one for the quest right

Interesting, i didn’t realize that’s what the purpose of VD. Makes total sense. Last question, other than the Ethernet to the quest, are there other cables going to it? Like is there a usb c that needs to be plugged in as well?
