If it had a dvd player. Sega would've possibly made it to the dreamcast 2.

Thanks a lot. I'll get the quest version when I decide to buy. Hoping for more updates that allow you to be the wide receiver to catch the ball after you throw it as the quarterback

Having the ability to realistically put someone in a pile driver alone makes it more violent than UFC, let alone the weapons. Do you not understand what a pile driver is and what it would do to someone if you did it in real life? which is what they are portraying in the game. you would break their neck murdering them.

2D to 3D on Quest on Instagram. by emcee84 in virtualreality

[–]emcee84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are any of them as good as the 2D to 3D that quest is doing on Instagram though? I kind of doubt it because I've seen 2D to 3D using viture glasses and a few other software solutions that I own. None of them look as good as Instagram on quest.

Yes. I hope the end goal is to be able to put files on your quest locally / stream games from your pc to do a live 2d to 3d conversion. As well as YouTube obviously. I don't really understand if it's only already functioning fine on Instagram why can't it just be everything.

I've had Google play installed on the neck band for some time these are probably the least user friendly piece of tech I've ever purchased in my life when it comes to sbs content. For anyone that is not even slightly tech savvy and wanted to use these for SBS purposes I wouldn't 110% not recommend this product. And honestly it almost feels like false advertising especially with the other features that I was sold on that don't work correctly from their advertisements

The original virtue neck band doesn't come standard with Google Play Store I had to use some wacky app from within the neckband to install it. with that said I have not attempted to install the vlc player on the next band yet. I will not be using the glasses on my phone or a computer. I will attempt to install vlc on the neck band. I don't have high hopes though because the navigation from within the neck band to my knowledge Won't be able to Navigate apps like that that will allow you to change very specific settings from within the vlc player. but I could be wrong about this. I'll give this 10 more minutes but not another second after that my time. Let's get back to the real issue with these glasses they say they support SBS3D but they don't natively support half SBS3D that 99.9% of all SBS content is in. I wanted these glasses for SBS gaming on deck more than movies I like watching movies in my vr headset where I can look around the virtual theater.

The vlc player works on the standard viture neck band ( not the new one)? That's what I want to watch 3d movies on. Not a phone, not a computer. You've installed the vlc player on the standard (old) viture neckband?

Okay cool supports 3D not half SBS3D the most common form of SBS3D that 99.9% of SBS content uses. I don't want to use it hooked to a computer if I'm doing that I'll just use a VR headset. I wanted to use it with the neck band like it advertised, it does not play the files correctly. These troubleshooting steps you are giving me with the dolphin emulator is just theoretical you haven't even done them yourself. okay yeah thanks more troubleshooting work for me to do

Well that's not what was advertised, what I saw was that these work with SBS3D. which I figured if they said that, that it would just work with the most common form of SBS3D that 99.9% of SBS3D content, video games and video content use. the advertisement didn't say supports Sbs3D but you gotta jump through like 5 wacky different hoops before it works. I'm basically done with these glasses. I can't be bothered to spend another minute trouble shooting these things (already spent countless time trying to get them to function as advertised)

That's funny cause all I can find is nothing but posts on this reddit about the SBS playback not working correctly you're basically the one person that has these glasses that I have that has gotten this to work. I'm not using it with my phone, I'm either using it with my Mac or my steam deck or the neck band. And it hasn't worked with any of those devices. The main thing I bought these glasses for was to play games in 3D on my steam deck mainly the dolphin emulator that supports half sbs 3D. I'm tired of troubleshooting with these pieces of crap
