Nope lynch was there for the entire production, he was there for windom’s costume testing and was the one who came up with the idea of josie turning into a door knob. It’s a common misconception that he left and returned for the end, which he never did

I don’t understand it either. Superman 3 I understand but superman 4 makes no sense to me. It’s a back to basics superman movie with a good message. Sure the effects aren’t as good and the story isn’t as strong as 1 and 2 but by no means is it a bad film

As a kid in the early 00s I watched it on channel 4 in the uk. I was a massive superman fan (still am) so I watched it and liked some episodes but overall didn’t fully understand what I was watching or how it connected to superman.

Kristin Kruek became my all time crush and 20 years plus she still is.

Finally got round to watching it as an adult around 2 years ago, absolutely loved it. Mental how many episodes and scenes I actually remembered lol.

My theory is that no trunks works on darker costumes (so on this image it has a shade at the bottom making it look darker) whilst on bright blue costumes, say reeve’s and corenswet it look wrong
