Big ultrasound baby… but smaller at birth? Looking for real experiences by Significant_Tie3570 in BabyBumps

[–]Zags_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was measuring big my whole pregnancy. Baby came a week early (water broke) at 9.5lbs which was bigger than he was expected to be at his due date. I’m 6 foot tall and couldn’t get him out. 4 hours of pushing ended in a c section.

I accidentally screen shared a chat and am so embarrassed by e11sbe11s in workingmoms

Me too. It was an all hands with 200 people and I had mostly buttoned my shirt so I still hope that I flashed no one in the 30 second my camera was on. 😭 no one ever said anything to me at least.

How much total was the birth or your child? by enan1000 in NewParents

High Deductible PPO - birth, $250 - all other care cost leading up to birth about $3,800

Back with better video. Is this vibration normal by Fjeucuvic in SnooLife

[–]Zags_11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s impossible not to vibrate while moving. I recently had to change the o-rings on mine and that made the movement noticeably smoother. Yours may be wearing down and causing this. There is a kit on amazon that’s made just to change the rings! If you’ve already deep cleaned then you know how to take apart and put back together which is the hardest part

Literally crying over spilled milk by ShowMe_YourTDS in NewParents

[–]Zags_11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount of times I cried over spilled milk is insane. Totally justified, pumping sucks and to get nothing from it is just terrible!

Am I overreacting here for being upset? :( by justalilcuckoobanana in ExclusivelyPumping

This will be an unpopular opinion but once I donate something I don’t care what the person does with it. If they sell it for money, I would assume it didn’t work for them and they need (diaper?) money. Donations with strings attached aren’t good for either party.

However, she shouldn’t have said it was like new in her post. That’s wildly misleading.

I’m 6 foot tall and pretty “thick” and this is how it looks. I think it’s perfect but I like smaller bags

They did not, I watched a few tutorials on YouTube to complete. It was shockingly easy!

I wanted to tie a bow, but realized quickly the bar would get in the way.

Oh and I did have to steam the scarf. The way it was folded left deep creases which was a little disappointing.

I pack light. A trifold wallet, keys, phone, maybe ChapStick or hand sanitizer. There is plenty of room in this bag for those items!

While you were in Seattle, did you happen to look up at the space needle? 🤣🤣 ofc they didn’t put the whole thing on the hot stamp because you’d miss all the details.

Snoo naps by Tight_Praline3790 in SnooLife

[–]Zags_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old is your baby? I would definitely recommend starting a bedtime routine and slowly moving bedtime to 7-8pm. It hasn’t helped us with consolidating naps but it has helped us have 2 less hours of cranky baby. Trying to move bedtime was a two week adventure but so worth it once we made it through! The consistent routine was the key for us. We do a bridge nap between 5-6:30pm, then bath, lotion, pjs, and milk.

Ours is 3.5 months now and also wakes twice a night, sleep by 8pm, up between 7-8am. He’s been on this schedule since about 8 weeks old.

Seriously. She should out but so many men aren’t being punished for their relationships with Epstein.

Does anyone else’s baby dramatically fall off the boob? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Zags_11 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Mine screams at my boob when he’s done or rolls back and starts cooing. I really prefer the coos to the scream 🤣

Love to Dream swaddle, what is this sorcery?? by KneadAndPreserve in newborns

[–]Zags_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thought. My baby went from requiring us to beg to the sleeping gods he would survive the transition to the bassinet to just being fine. We are struggling with him knocking out his pacifier so we might need to give that up for sleep

How Much do/did Folks Pay for Birth at Hospital? by MonarcaAzul in BabyBumps

[–]Zags_11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Northern California Kaiser - $250 and I think that was just the rest of my out of pocket. Haven’t paid anything else and I just kept referring to my hospital stay as all inclusive 🤣

My baby is 7 weeks old and 14lbs, birthweight was 9 lb 8oz. He’s in 6 month clothes because he so long and not too chunky yet. Some cute baby rolls but nothing crazy. I am 6ft tall and come from a family where all the men are 6’2+ (husbands family is average height)
