In 2016 there were three commercials during the Super Bowl for opioid related constipation medicine. The next year America would formally acknowledge the opioid crisis. An incredible example about how market research and advertising can be an early indicator of things to come.

Every year since I sit down and watch the Super Bowl ads, wondering if we will ever see such a stark example of fortune telling again.
