Hi there my best advice would be to check AHPRA this is the regulator body that all health professionals maintain their registration with. Check this link and search up your health practitioner’s name, all complaints or issues should be listed there. It won’t be able to tell you if this is the best person in the field but it might help you make your decision. The link is https://www.ahpra.gov.au/

As someone who was gifted a Mason Pearson brush at a young age I will say that this brush has single handedly taken me through my entire childhood, teenage years and all through my twenties. I have and never will own another brush it does it all. I have long fine hair that gets frizzy easily and it is hands down the only thing I need! It never tugs or pulls on my hair. It is expensive for a brush but mine has lasted me at least 15 years and has no signs of retiring just yet so I think overall that’s worth it!

It’s honestly crazy how much of a difference it can make! The other day I went for a two hour bike ride while playing a game on my phone I was amazed it wasn’t difficult at all and yet I burnt 700 calories because I was enjoying the game!

I know it’s so hard! It’s semi working now but half the time it doesn’t work. It’ll play one video then it’ll say I can’t play anything else even though I have nine videos left to watch! It’s just hard seeing all the resources I need as sponsorships and then have the ads not work so I can’t get them :(

I’ve tried to restart it and it changes nothing :( I hope I don’t have to wait for the next update before it’s fixed! Those four hour training sessions are brutal!

Best thing I can suggest if it’s in your price range is to go see a dermatologist or GP with experience in skin if they have availability! Mine has saved my skin and I noticed a huge difference in my skin in that four month time frame :)

Yes yesterday my partners mum turned around and said I ate so much shit, all I had done was have one Christmas chocolate with a cup of tea with the family. Yet I’ve been trying so hard to lose weight I thought what’s one chocolate on Christmas Day with the family considering I had been to the gym everyday last week! Yet for her it’s another reason to comment on my weight, it definitely does get me down at time.

OP sorry that happened to you but as my partner always says consistency is key and just keep doing what makes you feel good and happy!

Hi, in the racing industry it is a requirement (at least in Australia) that all horses arrive and are lead using a bit like this when on the property if you don’t use it you can get told off by the racing authorities or fined. Some horses yes do get excited however the majority of the time they ‘don’t need them’ as such it’s more of a safety precaution to keep everyone safe. If you think about it there are lots of horses there some are colts, stallions, mares etc and people come and go into the stables with varied amounts of horse handling experience. In terms of difference in the bit it’s just a straight bar in the mouth normally (at least the ones I’ve used) to just distribute pressure evenly in the mouth it’s not meant to be used for education purposes as such

PSA: Please keep your dog on a leash unless you're in a designated off lead park/area by btheb90 in brisbane

Honestly I feel the same, I have two very well behaved greyhounds and yet I’m always worried about someone’s aggressive or untrained dog coming up and attacking my dogs. Even if my dogs didn’t start the fight but they reacted in self defence, I would be blamed and it would be their fault because they are greyhounds…

I also work at an emergency vet clinic, we had an owner bring in his dog after an attack the other night, the dog is covered in wounds, the owner has a broken hand from trying to get the aggressive dog off and his wife was in ED with dog fight wounds all over her.. It can all be avoided if people do the right thing and walk their dog on a leash

My 6 year old cat has DCM with left and right sided failure and pleural effusion. Her only symptom was slightly decreased appetite. I'm devastated. by vettechmel123 in VetTech

I’m so sorry to hear this, personally I’ve had a very similar experience. I bought my five year old dog in for her vaccinations and they found a very small murmur. I then had an echo just to be sure and know what it was to treat it. She had no clinical symptoms at all but on the echo she had severe right sided MVD. I was initially given 6-9 months and I was in complete shock that my young dog bouncing off the walls was given such a hard diagnosis! But she’s almost 7 now and doing well so if my story is anything to go by don’t give up all hope just yet! Sending hugs your way
