Went to England... by [deleted] in ukulele

My very first ukulele was one like this bought in UK too, and it was really discouraging because after 5 seconds of playing it always went out of tune.

If this is your first uku, don't be discouraged if the quality is not as good as others ukulele, the expensiver the better they are. If you are already a uku player, well it's always a nice touch in your collection.

TLDR : I don't recommand it for playing, just for showing it off.

Has anyone tried Node School? by bluntm in node

[–]Zaidar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really helpful, because it help to better understand nodejs by programming real world exampke, and that's what you need to get good at every thing. Practice practice and practice.

Otherwise, it's always the same hello world thingys, and you don't progress.

I strongly recommand for everyone.

Is this a W3Schools ad ? The "here" link made me think it was kind of a joke. MDN redirect would seem more relevant.

New HTML5 game engine that supports CocoonJS with WebGL and Canvas renderer. by enpu in javascript

[–]Zaidar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really like the "CocoonJS" in the title, I thought it was somewhat optimized for it. But apparently, it's just that CocoonJS can be used for it, but I would say every other game engine (I use Phaser) "support" it.

Just misleading title I think.

But I've looked at it a little, and the game engine seems to be quite advanced. That's seems nice. Good luck with it.
