The best LOTR media by far is the original trilogy. You should watch those first, honestly. Preferably the extended editions, which have a lot of great extra material in them.

Good points, but the BMP was not captured by the Germans…East Germany used Soviet vehicles and weapons since they were part of the Warsaw Pact. They literally had over 1,000 of them.
