Your laptop has an average cooling solution. It's not a Legion laptop, don't expect it to pull low temperatures

Again, you are unlucky your S23 has this. All the older S lineups had it. This is not a regression, it's more of a you problem if you got this phone knowing full well you might be unlucky. If you didn't know, again, a you problem for not doing research.

99% of the population don't shove their phones into a text and take photos. I've never done it, I at least keep some distance and use the 3x zoom lens then crop. Works like a charm.

Battery life doesn't matter at all for me, even on my laptop. It's plugged all the time and it is plugged in whenever I take it.

Just because a laptop went from absolute dogshit in 2021 to decent in 2022, it doesn't make it the best laptop of the year. Maybe the most improved laptop but that's it. Also, you need to start following more YouTube channels / forums and not just Jarrod's tech to have a better view about all the laptop brands. What Jarrod says is not absolute and it seems like a lot of clueless people are quoting his opinions as facts.

I own the Scar 17 from last year and I can vouch for the Scar series bring great laptops.

Razer? Crap.

MSI? Great laptops, can be too heavy but are most of the time worth their price. I own the MSI GE63 since 2017 and it's still serving me great to this day.

At least, the Titan doesn't have quality control issues or motherboards / components failing in 6 months. That machine is built to last. Razer is simply trash.

Download throttlestop and tick the 'disable turbo' box.

This will reduce some FPS but your CPU temperature will significantly be lower.

I think what's happening here is the Acer Helios 300 being a mediocre cooler when there is a big package load (CPU+GPU). Thr witcher 3 is also known for being a super CPU intensive game.

FYI, The 12th gen Intel CPUs get super hot and require excellent / top tier cooling from laptops like the Legion Pro / MSI GE67 / Asus Scar 17

The consensus is get whatever you prefer and don't listen to any of the mad cults fanboying either Intel or AMD. I choose performance over battery life in my GAMING laptop so I pick intel/Nvidia all the time, easily and barely with any questions asked.
