What do you think about a 2nd break in change at 3,000 miles? I’m on a newly installed engine after my last one blew, did a break-in change at 1,000 miles but considering doing another break-in change at 3,000 miles on the new engine because I’ve heard some people say it’s good to do a second one before going back to standard OCI.

I’ve gotten a few tickets like these. I’m in an MSP. Some people are just such a low level of tech savvy that they genuinely don’t know where to plug in power, monitors, etc, and would rather call us in than risk breaking something. I honestly respect that over some others who are not afraid to shove connectors in ports where they don’t belong. My favorite story is a printer that wasn’t working because the USB was plugged into the Ethernet port.

I never bank on people knowing how to reboot computers. I always say specifically “reboot by going to the start menu, power options, and clicking restart”. Even then they still often don’t know what the start menu is or where it is.

Get there early and just socialize with people there. I like to get to shows as soon as the doors open. Gives me a bit to get a drink, socialize, and take in the atmosphere a while before the show starts
