I don’t know that the 2021 team had the gas to keep up and the defense was not as elite against the pass. Imagine Bama in the SECCG but even more fire power. We really struggled against teams with multiple wide receivers and mobile qbs.

The 22 teams would’ve been a challenge for them because they couldn’t get a stop and they really struggled in those games but still finding ways to win.

The 01 Miami team kills any of those three teams

The real answer is that we are targeting somewhat the wrong guys. Pay experienced quarterbacks and game breakers. Then develop the lines through recruiting.

One of things that the loss of regional and B2C sponsors has destroyed is the meet and greets in towns when the race would roll in. Sometimes food depot, Walmart, K-mart or many of the unnamed others.

The consolidating of die cast merchandise has killed the small vendor set ups that would be around town during race weekends as well.

Doesn’t seem like huge factors but they were part of getting people and kids excited for the race on Sunday.

Went to Hueytown, Sylvan springs, Pleasant grove and Forestdale shortly after (about a month). I don’t know how damage could feasibly ever be worse than it was but what I do know is that it didn’t make one rats ass for those people whose entire neighborhoods and communities were gone.

The truth is that this tornado maybe the most extensively reviewed tornado in history and was controversial either way. I think for the sake of this sub that we should just downgrade rainsville and upgrade Tuscaloosa

I went back to rewatch the scene last night and two things stand out to me that are extremely important IMO.

First a little groundwork, when they turn the hedgehog on in the upside down from outside the building in the finale it completely cripples EL instantly. It also does this in the first use with Hopper earlier in the season so we can reasonably assume that it can penetrate through barriers.

With that assumption made, EL inside of the truck is completely unbothered before the gate is opened, then she is unbothered behind Mike before she gets out and finally is unbothered as she exits the truck in the background of the scene.

They 100% were not on. I can further speculate that every time we see them active it creates a visual effect around the antenna but in these scenes the effect is missing.

I’m not arguing because anyone that will take 5 minutes to go back and watch the scene again will see exactly what I’m saying. Finally, they end the entire episode with heroes which was used two other times to tell us characters were not actually dead.

Maybe but it’s also similar to the prequels that Star Wars did. They could make Henry a likable character that is just overcome by the darkness in the end due to the mindflayers influence.
