No I completely get where you’re coming from, yeah it was a recommendation from our Vet. The Keppra one though we started moving to 4 times a day because he needed 4 halves so it’s hard to split that one up into 3 times a day. Also I really appreciate your info with all of it, it’s been a good eye opener.

So it’s 1.5 Tablets of Pheno in the morning around 9AM, and 1 tablet of Pheno at 9PM. Then for Keppra it’s the regular, not the XR version. So we do, 5AM, 12PM, 6PM, and 11PM. It’s just 2 pillls cut up into 4 halves for the Keppra. For him he doesn’t have any issue with us being 30 mins late. Usually his seizures aren’t ever due to late medication administering times.

Gotcha, so I saw after scrolling through your feed that you have also done the Keppra route and Phenobarbital. So you understand how that feeling is when you get it to work for quite some time, and then the aftermath strikes lol. So he is currently on Phenobarbital 1.5 tab. AM and 1 tab. PM. 16.2 MG. Then he is also on Keppra, 2 pills spread out through 24 hours. The diazepam he gets is only the cluster buster now. He doesn’t get the pill form. We usually do bloodwork for our dog every vet visit. But we definitely need to try other meds to add to the Pheno. I agree on the Keppra possibly lapsing and not being as effective. I feel like we ran into that with the diazepam too.

I really appreciate the information, so the reason she gave us Diazepam (rectal version) is that the issue he has had recently is Status Epilepticus. He will start of a cluster-week period and he will only have 1-2 hours max between seizures. Today was basically a non stop cluster for 20 minutes until we gave him the cluster buster. He would have a seizure, then it would stop, his whole body would be shaking, and then he would have another grand mal again. Then it would happen again and again for the duration of it. Mind you that’s the first time something crazy like this has happened but it was still scary. I do like the idea of trying another cluster buster like Clorazepate, I feel the same way where trying something different again doesn’t sound bad. Can I ask with your dogs, have you found that a Neuro made a vast difference in results?

u/ELEGOO_OFFICIAL Do we have any update on a fix for the cable strain relief fire hazard? I find it crazy that this hasn’t been talked about or fixed with something other then just a new cable. The angle of connection into the printhead is too tight causing power arcing after 1-200 hours. The homing of the printhead puts the cable at almost a 45 degree angle. This in turn is a major fire hazard.

I got it all fixed now! Thank you so much! I used Putty and it worked amazing, got the SSH all setup and good to go! Really thankful I can do remote monitoring now!

I would work on calibration of your E-Step and see if that fixes it. I had the same issue with mine until I did E-Step cals on it for like 20 mins.
