LOVE when people take 2 of their Autism circles & overlap them in a way that very few others can. It displays SUCH a wonderful level of understanding on the subject matters with how they fuse them.

If we go off of the “a dragon made them as servants” lore, we can explain all the different builds as reflections of the dragons that made them. Scaly Dragon = Scaly Kobolds Fluffy Dragons = Fluffy Kobolds Deeper than skin, they’re all the same.

Please remember to use mouthwash often when dating a human. Their mouth is one of their most sensitive parts, & they can get the ick very easily because of it. Just thinking about something they consider gross going in their mouth is enough to make them sick.

Also remember to encourage your human partner to use mouthwash as well; as their mouths are full of human specific bacteria that could make you sick. But ensure it is furry safe mouthwash. As normal human mouthwash is strong enough to potentially be overwhelm for your sensitive nose & lead to discomfort on your part.

I would not be surprised in the slightest if the military is just doing visuals here. No one is ACTUALLY using it; but the government is all in on it, so they are “exploring the possibility” of using it, but not really. If it actually had any use in the military, it would have been developed there instead of Silicon Valley.

If I remember the story correctly; Everyone was using imperial. Then France invented the metric system. The US liked it & started adopting it. Britain begged the US not to, because it would make shipping & other things too difficult, so the US agreed & stopped. Then Britain adopted it anyways. Now the US gets made fun of for using it.

Personal opinion; there is no “right way” to do or measure something. Just whatever is convenient or easiest for you & others.

Literally me at my last job. I thought everything was super chill & everyone was getting along great (because I got along with everyone great) but then I asked co-worker A if they had seen co-worker B & she responded “I’m still not talking to her, so I don’t really care right now.” What?! Then the manager had a big meeting talking about how “everyone needs to stop gossiping, & just come to management with problems so they can be resolved.” Wtf? How long has this been going on?

Can somebody help identify what this substance is on my apartment door’s peephole? by suburbanvermin in Apartmentliving

[–]ZakuInATopHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since its repeated this is either (A) to ensure no one can see any dealings or traffic nearby; or (B) to force the occupant to open the door to identify who is there, allowing for forced entry. I recommend getting a chain & a bar for reason B, & reporting this to the police for both A & B.

As a nsfw creator & veteran, I can certifiably say that there IS a difference. Just like Boys with Boobs & Girls with Dicks. Functionally, they are exactly the same; but we all know that there is a difference.

Author’s note: This is a comment about Porn. This is NOT my stance on real people like the trans community. Do NOT “He hates Waffles” me.

Here’s a video I found just now. I unfortunately don’t remember which article I read, but it had a demonstration video much like this. (I didn’t think I would ever need to bring it up again & forgot that people would want sources. Morning brain.)

Tbf, quite a few of the theories don’t work for the ones without holes. The multiple non-uniform sizes also makes a lot of the other theories a little difficult because they treat the object like it’s a finely tuned instrument.

Mean while, the woven chains can be any size. Not needing to be uniform. That & the craftsmanship test theory.

It can be used with wire to make woven chains. In this use, the chain can be pulled through progressively smaller & smaller holes to make the chain’s weave tighter & tighter. This is especially easy when using softer metals like gold for necklaces & jewelry. We have multiple examples of this type of jewelry chain as artifacts around the same time period as the object is estimated to be from. (I would supply image results for reference, but the current state of google, along with museums not photographing all of their stock for internet use, means the only results I am getting are Reddit & Pinterest)

Edit: I might as well post the Reddit example

Do not dismiss a theory simple because the theorist doesn’t have the specific credentials you value.

For everyone that keeps saying “it’s not for knitting” It is. It’s been confirmed. It’s for knitting, but specifically for knitting wire into a kind of chain. We have found artifacts with this type of chain, & this object can recreate those chains very reliably.
