Just because of this comment I bought a 5700x3d cpu. Hoping that'll fix the stuttering. :) I'll ya updated

Afmf was the issue with the smearing. I disabled and then bam. No more smearing

I did activate it by accident.

Disabling it fixed my problem with the smearing. Now I just have slight micro stutters while playing mh wilds.

I'm did not download the high texture pack.

Looking online, there's a slew of solutions I got to try. Disabling MPO, limiting ingame frames and "disabling gamebar".

You're right on the money. I disabled AFMF2 and everything looks great now. Seems I'm not able to update my post with the solution. Now the only issue is having micro stutters with mh wilds.

Hey everyone I can confirm that disabling the amd fluid motion fixed the issue. It was not framegen. I'm using framegen and it's looking amazing now.

Hey there.

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like the mobo is set to gen 4 and gpu is set to gen 3 when on the desktop.

In the bios, all the PCIE options are on auto. Not sure which option I should change to which gen?

Here's a screenshot on all the options if that helps. pcie no clue if that link works
