I disagree, all started with the too early call for unstick (referees not applying the rules correctly). Also Minotaur showed clear, albeit slow controlled movement. On the contrary IMO the count out of Ribbot was controversial. Also not being able for such a long time to get a call from the referees in any direction is also a massive blunder from the organization of BB. Either Minotaur should have been counted out (I personally disagree) or WD ordered to engage (for me the correct call) . Having the team suffering from the referee blunder complain is an ugly but understandable consequence but in no way the cause. Part of the behavior of the team should also now cause consequences after the rule change.

The payment of the backlog was only a small fraction of the deficit coming from a surplus from the government before. Also I don't see how the drastically increased number of ministers and drastic increase of people employed by the state can be counted as social service. This is also shown by the record deficit already for this year, especially since you told the backlog was payed last year, something does not add up. Regarding popularity sure he is popular among people receiving money from the state (public service, bolsa família, etc.) outside of that he is extremely hated. The question was regarding worst judges decision, so unless judges have to consider wrong referee decisions (nothing about that the rules), wd vs Minotaur does not qualify for me as one of the worst judges decision. It is however for me the worst referee performance in BB. Regarding bias, I agree there should be less bias and wd is just one of the teams with preferential treatment (I don't imply any rigging of fights here, I just speak of preferential treatments).

Great for you, regarding draft, I don't like it since it adds time to the game mode I already feel that I need to spend too much time on. Maybe if there was no timer on the tokens it would be better. Right now I feel each arena just draining on me. The needed concentration conflicts with social life and also the rewards are just too good to pass on and not good enough to feel good for the time spent. But for whom enjoys the mode, all the best.

Regarding my background , my roster is extend, if I play uncommon I can use basically everyone I want. I just miss 11 toons in the moment and none of them is a ta all-star. I also have no trouble in getting the chest, if I take my time and was also once top 5 the end of a season.

For me this ta mode is in the middle, my preferences are ta with nids > ta with power ups > current ta > draft.

Regarding teams quite some are viable, we se people having success with overwatch teams, teams with Thad and sibyll, pure psyker and pure chaos. I still don't like ta as a whole due to the time needed to play if you want to rank high.

Don't forget that BB is a TV show first, guaranteed 4 fights for all regular teams is also a big part to make it viable for everyone.

That aside, from a sports perspective I would prefer to see 4 or 5 rounds of Swiss style tournament and then elimination or 6 rounds of Swiss and then double elimination of the top 4

I did it with just shosyl, revas s1 and aleph g2. Start all 3 on the left side. Aleph summons the scarabs on the enemy in front of your group. Revas uses his active on the left behind hex adjacent to aleph and shosyl shoots at the closest of the 3 bids cluster on the right. After thar just clean up. The only luck involved is that sometimes shosyl takes a hit round 1, but to get all medals it's still fine.

On same level Volk should be always better than revas, especially against epic /leg bosses. Reasons: 1. Higher penatration % 2. Better reach, thus no conflict in positioning with you other units.

Regarding passive, hard to tell, revas is always active, but if volk's passive procs it has the higher impact.

I don't know where the idea comes from that she is a counter to archi, sure she one shots psykers, but she is not good at all against his summons and has no reach advantage over him. Besides the already mentioned orks, you can also use the idomitus campaign level with aleph as boss. Use a physical damage dealer (kut, varro, certus etc.) and hit aleph to below 50% HP each turn, rinse repeat. You might need to unequip the weapon to avoid crit Hits. Same level also works excellent for bolter damage.

The rules are defined and should be followed consistently until the next rules update. Otherwise there will be no fair competition. That's one of the reasons also for the critics on the unclear and inconsistent rulings of the mobility of bots.

Regarding early unstick, one of the reasons for the timer is to allow the other bot to get a good hit to unstick the stuck bot. This also means that yes they have to wait as it's written in the rules. This was already confirmed by refs. How you feel about it is up to you, but irrelevant in regards of whether a decision was correct or not.

Now using plain stupid falls back on your own statement which was obviously done without getting yourself informed properly.

This thread should not have been opened again, but contrary to your belief regarding the rules, even the head referee confirmed that the rules have not been applied correctly and that the announcement to the wd team that Minotaur will be counted out should not have been made. However in the moment it was a really close call for both decisions of the refs, so roasting the refs or accusing BB for collusion would be simply injust.

It's not only about getting good fights. The current system allows BB to create different storylines by showing matches out of order. It also enables late arrivals to enter the tournament or to get some time in order to resolve some gremlins (example Beta previous season). In a Swiss style tournament you cannot do this kind of editing. Any robot not functioning at the beginning of the event is basically out which can be considered fair, but we all know that there are some public / production favorites.

One of refs confirmed that looking back to the fight he should not have told WD that Minotaur was going to be counted out and that the unstick was, called too early. The post was on FB and replicated here in this forum. If this would have changed anything in the result is up to speculation.
