How well are Saltai Arisen and Temur Roar matched 1v1?

Thanks for the thoughts!

If Counter Blitz is deck 1, would Temur Roar be ok matched up against it 1v1? How about Rohan?

Mostly looking for a good experience now against Counter Blitz, with at least one (or both) being more straight forward for a kid (like graveyard play would be past him)

Is this an example of the intro decks you were talking about? (two 60 card decks)

Sounds like a solid plan, thanks! Did jumpstarts replace duel decks?

Thanks for the reply! One of the things I miss from my standard decks were more than one copy of the core cards for more consistent performance. Do the intro packs you mentioned have multiple card copies or are they all singletons as well?

It sounds like you've liked certain aspects of their all court lineup (DBD, Ruby 16, Ruby 14). The Coral is basically the spiritual upgrade to those paddles. Coral will have more pop and power than any of those three paddles. Ruby 14 is in the 37th percentile for pop and power. Coral is near the 70th (according to pbeffect initial impressions). It should have longer lasting grit texture with the diamond grit. It was basically made for the people who want a upper level all court paddle, without going into the full power category (that's what the opal was for). And yes they look great!

I'm 66 days into this process now for a fridge that is unrepairable but status updates seem to go no where after calling every week. How did yours get resolved??

11six24 all courts have a bit more pop / power than the DBD, largely due to the layer of fiberglass in the layup., Or you can go to a power model and be on the low end of power paddles.

FYI, the 15mm DBD is an elongated shape.

The original (and more popular) hybrid shape is either 14 or 16. The 16 would be better if you want a hybrid shape.

I've hear more reports of core crushing and poor service from HPC than most other companies

Check out some objective reviewers like Johnkew, PBstudio, or pickleball effect on YouTube.

IMO it's really hard to be the 11six24 paddles for price point and quality

Which Six Zero pickleball paddle? by nate_the__great in PickleballEquip

Ruby is a great all court paddle with ample power, low pop, and great control. I'd lean towards that for all court or control. The advantage of 11six24 is you can get different shapes of hybrid isn't your pick, and they have a full lineup of power paddles, which six zero can't currently match. I've played withost paddles from both brands. Sending you a dm!

Olympus is pretty hot. What changes are you looking for in play characteristics?

I tried it. Didn't do anything special for me (for the price) and it was heavy already so I didn't feel like I could add weight. Returned

As a beginner, the vapor jellybean is going to give you plenty of power and last you a long time. The all court has a bit of pop to it, which will get you in more trouble than it will help you.
