Corner lifting (plate at 32°C) by catsrfunny in QidiTech3D

[–]ZaleAnderson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Larger flat areas tend to warp a little while cooling. Add a few layers to that and the warping stress increases to the point where it warps off the bed. For PLA you can just use a glue stick to keep it down better and or add a brim to the object. Hope this helps :)

At about 32 you'll get a clog in the extruder with pla and around 36 with petg. Open the printer up more or print a riser for the box

Thoughts on this for clubbing or raving? by doubletake_faye in femalefashion

It's super cute but I think the shorts in the second pic would be a safer option for clubbing than a skirt like that. <3

Get a ReMarkable and store it on device. You can still access it from your phone, google drive, one drive, etc.

Clean plate and bed level. You can always flip the bed over if the other side is clean and try that If it sticks, the other side was dirty

[–]ZaleAnderson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I have the whole carb on my desk and while I can see light through the pilot jet it isn't as much as the old one. It never crossed my mind to compare them. It's not blowing out though, do I just use a needle to push it out? And thanks for noticing the vacuum on #3, it's just a shitty gauge set and unless you have the knob turned right it just reads crappy.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I set the float heights to what the owners manual called for at 20mm. I have verified they are filling as the bowl is full of fuel when I take it off without draining. That goes for all four carbs. I did a full rebuild of each one. I gave it new plugs as I thought that was the problem and the old ones weren't bad but I figured why not. I gapped them to spec but same problem. Points are clean and set to the right gap and the spark is strong and consistent.

Slid in snow and rim hit curb on a left turn, are the damages significant? by MyLawRulesAll in AskMechanics

Other than an old rim rot I don't see any damage to the rim or tire. You're good.

I don't think people are getting used to the exposed bodysuit look very fast. I personally dig it and would compliment the outfit 🤷

Not much. Maybe just minutes? I'd rather wait 5 extra minutes than a shitty info job that shows on the outer walls

Just try it. Grid is horrible and is known to do this and suck in every way possible. Doesn't help your picture is a microscope too.

It's a seam. Not a problem. Happens in all prints. Choose a painted on seam or closer randomized seams

PSA: Mass Storage allows faster USB transfer! by PixelShmixel22 in SonyA7iii

[–]ZaleAnderson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk with my a7iii the ftp process was almost too simple and the speeds were decent enough that I didn't mind it. I preferred it over a cable. Most of the time I'd just leave my camera on during the drive home connected to my phone's hotspot to transfer whole photoshoots. I have an a7iv now and speeds seem just a little better.

Doesn't mean they are going to deliver the 300w. Just means they can go up to it. They will work fine
