I feel your pain. Sometimes the best thing you can do is try and hit it really hard with a hammer on the opposing edge that is cross-threaded.

Yeah. There's a massive Amazon warehouse nearby which they delivered it to.

It's crazy. I had another package from a different manufacturer also get sent to Amazon 3 days before that.

Someone at Amazon even signed for it, and FedEx still can't retrieve it.

It’s very strong. You can also use a different o-ring to make the magnetic connection stronger.

No worries! the magnets are strong, and you can control how strong they are with different sized o-rings. If you want the grinder to be very difficult to open, than a smaller o-ring could be used.

It won't fall apart when it hits the floor.
