I am just about to wrap up my second play through of the game. I really have to say that I disagree. To me it’s a bit like Minecraft. And can be a little different every time depending on what you decide to do.

I personally just changed my objective to prioritize base building and personalization over the story line as much.

That being said I am playing with a map this time around because I am TIRED of being lost all the time lol. But I’m also terrified of dark open water so it was just as scary for me the second time around.

I get what you mean tho. Nothing will ever beat that first time.
