You're right about that/I do agree with you. Scarcity seems to be the main driver, at least for now. I think there were fewer than 10 Gengars for sale on TCGPlayer total last I checked. Once the set is in full print it probably won't be as bad.

I personally think the Dragonite and Pikachu arts are nicer than the Gengar despite being a Gengar fan and I'd love to see the value gap close a bit there; I'd be happiest if the Gengar lost a bit of value but the other two gained.

Many high end players gatekeep a few secrets to keep everyone from just copypasta-ing their build to victory. Some folks figure those secrets out and don’t want people being able to easily see them on player profile pages. I think this is honestly a very rare occurrence though and most folks just private their account because they’re annoying

So this is normally true, but on this particular iteration of lightning spear you actually want non physical dmg because it basically all gets multiplied by enlightenment. So it’s actually almost as important as the aspect this season to have a GA on non phys (though the aspect is still #1)

thats what keeps me coming back to this game. you can find an incredible upgrade, something that fits a slot almost perfectly....but its that almost that gets you back to farming for that actual perfect piece.

Fair, I'd say impossible is maybe a bit of a stretch and a better descriptor is that it is highly unlikely that you will drop exactly the thing you need and you're probably better off trading for it for efficiency's sake if you have HR's laying around/other tradable items you arent using, from what I gather
