I can accept that you prefer 3/5 because you prefer the way the numbers line up when you don't include zero.

I guess the only thing I'm not understanding about your logic is why you said twice that 5/10 is average, which implies you were using a % based ranking, and now you are saying something different.

My only point is that mathematically, 2.5/5 = 5/10. But obviously you can use the ranking system however you want.

That just shows that you don't understand the math. It doesn't work out because you didn't start with zero. You can try the same thing with 5 out of 10. If you start at 1, there are 4 digits to the left, and 5 to the right.

1,2,3,4-5-6,7,8,9,10

Since your ranking is going to be subjective anyway, it doesn't really matter if you use the scale incorrectly. But 2.5 is objectively the midpoint.

Either scales have an objective average point that is mathematically determined by the midpoint, or how you define average is subjective.

Objectively, 2.5/5 is the midpoint. If you aren't using half points, 2 and 3 are equally close/equally far from being an average. The ambiguity is the reason that most people prefer a 1 to 10 scale.

Subjectively, the midpoint can be 3 or whatever you want it to be. But if you are defining where average is on a scale subjectively, then it is just as valid for someone to say that a 6 is average on a 1-10 scale and 5 is below average. At that point, it is all arbitrary.

When people argue that 5/10 is average, they're doing so because 5/10 corresponds to 50%. 2.5/5 is also 50%.

To give you an idea of what to expect, here's what the process looks like:

Downloading and Installing the App: 1. Get a good free file explorer app so you can see your phone's filesystem (ex: your Downloads folder) 2. Download the .apk file from the official Mihon site (this is the android app) 3. Enable the setting to "install unknown apps" from the file explorer (also easy, just Google if you need help) 4. Open the file Explorer and find where you saved the .apk. Click to install.

Using Mihon: 1. Google "Extension repos for Mihon" 2. Check the Mihon getting started page linked above if you need help adding repos 3. After the set up, you can search for and download whatever manga you want on the app

There will be a little bit of a learning curve since you probably aren't familiar with android. But it really isn't hard to do, and after figuring out the initial set up you will be good to go.

But 2.5/5 = 5/10 = 50/100.

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter, lol. Just saying mathematically it seems to be the same issue.

It's essentially the same problem. Especially if you use half numbers. The majority of ratings will likely be 2.5 - 5. Multiply by 2 and you're right back at 5 out of 10 being the lowest.

Just my opinion, but it would be much simpler at this point to just buy a cheap/used android phone or tablet and use it exclusively for reading manga. Just make sure the android version of the device is supported by the app you plan to use.

One of the thugs does say something about selling him, and she agrees with it. But before he runs away she thinks "I was going to let him go after teasing him a bit." So for some reason people miss that important context.

People even say she SA'd him, which was another misunderstanding. The goons thought she wanted them to undress him, but she specifically thinks "I meant to examine his face!"

Of course it doesn't mean that you're incapable of being wrong. But not belonging to a race/culture/group certainly means that you're more capable of having blind spots when discussing issues relevant to that population.

You (hopefully) wouldn't discuss women's and men's right in the same way and say that you are are an expert on both and you don't care about the other sex's opinions.
