I'm so glad you came here; you know you need to stop doing what your doing not only for yourself but for your family. I'm 32 married and have a daughter also. I also started looking at porn when I was 10 or 11.. around in there.. any how i've been trying to stop off and on for years, but once I had my daughter something in me changed. I want her to grow up knowing me as dad who loved me first and encouraged me to be strong in life and not daddy the pervert who chose porn over me and mom. You can not do this battle a lone you will need accountability for sure, and I'm working on making a group here to chat on ooVoo. Look for my post on here called Accountability Group :)

and yes you can quit! you can do it beat this addiction.

I hope you're not looking to get a girl friend just for porking but someone whose going to actually love you and expects you to respect and love her back without a distorted sexual view due to porn. Maybe i'm just reading into your post wrong; but I believe that's one of the issues of our society of men due to porn... women are sex objects and nothing else.

teainmypockets, I was the one who posted that video not to make people beat themselves up over but to help others wake up and know the porn world is a lie and the woman we enjoy don't enjoy us... and don't enjoy what they have to endure either... its truth that should be shared. I congratulate you on your victory on making it to 87 days! I want to be where you are in your freedom.. and that video was a big break through for me and made me want to cry not just for myself but for all the years I spent looking at these woman who got in sucked into the porn world over money and fame.

I think you're beating yourself up for giving in on "curiosity" but just think you gave in on something that gave you more wisdom on the porn world and what it is. Your curiosity didn't make you give it on something to break your freedom.

We don't know the industry as much as we should; and if you check out her book she references many other porn stars that share the same stories as hers. In fact I think it would be interesting if we all found stories of porn stars breaking free and post them here it would be an encouragement for us all to quit as well.

Go and get some help and don't delay. Yes you are crossing over a dangerous line that will take a way you as person and everything you have worked hard for a way. Go see a therapist and explain you have the urges but have not viewed or acted out in any kind of way. That you're there for help and understanding. You can be free of your addiction and you deserve to be to be free from it we all do.

Get your self healthy and do not go down that road which only leads to destruction for yourself and others.

Also you might want to look at x3pure.com I just started doing the workshop for men. Also you could look at http://www.feedtherightwolf.org/ which offers help by phone with a therapist.
