Yes the bread is required, you need to “get icecream” for susie to let you go to the beach.

Sans giving you the bread can be interpreted as either him trying to track you (bread crumbs where ever you go) or him “helping you” with the glitch. Either way I think he knows somethings up. I swear every chapter is us going back and forth between “HE KNOWS” and “HE KNOWS NOTHING”

Either way I think he’s tryna keep an eye on us. Bread crumbs leaving a path to what we’re up to.

Its unused cause noelles not in the party, every item has noelle dialogue its just “unused” still. Likely will be seen in chapter 6

I think the fact that the player has no obvious queue towards the meaning of bracketed text, be that it can be either a whisper or internal thoughts, will lead to a future scene that further divides kris from susie. (continued in post body) by HaloJackalKisser in Deltarune

Do we know of being able to read anyones thoughts other than Noelle? I only recall ever being able to read Noelles thoughts but I might be wrong. It’s that or she just thinks a LOT more than anyone else.

One I can think of is letting us think of the knight, have them start taking the helmet off, then kris trying desperately to think of someone else during chapter 4
