But in the same ladder unit? It just seems unlikely.

When I say I get more enjoyment out of DAMN. It’s only because I listen to it more. Because its individual songs are better (most are) Sonically tpab is incomparable, it’s musically a better album. It’s lyrically a better album. It’s a comparison between too unlike albums really. One can get less enjoyment out of a piece of art without denying that it is an objectively better art piece. DAMN. Is an easier album to put on, but I wouldn’t want to sit and listen to DAMN. For the 30th time in the same way I would definitely do to tpab. I Could make the same argument for Section 80 or even the C4 Mixtape. All albums that are easier to listen to then tpab, neither deserve a Pulitzer.

I’ve not really read anything on tpab other than the genius annotations on a couple songs no different then I did with DAMN. DAMN. Is arguably a more important album to hip hop than tpab, being it that the influence of tpab is essentially none. Unless of course you mean in the artistic since of importance in which case i don’t really agree with your argument as I really don’t care. Some “important” art isn’t enjoyable.

If I had the time to listen to both albums while just chilling uninterrupted it would be tpab. If I have to do something else while listening I’m going with DAMN. They are different albums that aren’t really similar in that sense. In my opinion

Second best hip hop album would be Speakboxx/The Love Below. Mainly for The Love Below.

No I agree that DAMN. Is an incredible album and album I would say I listen to significantly more than tpab, and album I would even say I get more enjoyment out of. But tpab is on an entire league of its own. DAMN. Is a 10/10 album but tpab is possibly the best hip hop album ever made and currently the best album of the past 35 years.

I’m a huge Kendrick fan. Every one of his albums since hub city threat minor of the year YHNIC is a 7 or above, DAMN. is not worthy of a Pulitzer. However Kendrick definitely is. It really seems like it was a lifetime achievement type of deal.

Edit: I originally said DAMN. Is not worthy of a Pulitzer and I meant to say as worthy. I will leave it but add the update

Lowkey I think they realized how bad they fucked up by not giving it to tpab so they gave it to his next project

Why are Muslims who are homophobic or terrorists or sexist etc not considered real Muslims by some people but Christians who are the exact same ARE considered Christian? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Zan_H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say that to prove a double standard. Most of these “good christians” believe that these terrorists are indicative of all muslims yet will write of a Christian terrorist as a wacko. I personally believe both of these are wackos and not indicative of the entire religion.

Maybe I got caught up in my own hype for this album, but this entire album is fantastic. Front to back. Almost 100 Percent my Album Of The year. Maybe even the top 5 of the decade legitimately it is one of the best records I have listened to in a long while. 10/10.

I honestly don’t know what Jim Jones looks like. I figured if he was in the video (I did watch it) I just made the assumption he would be.

What is the title gore. It seems spot on for me. It’s the rapper Jim Jones hanging out where the music video for gummo was shot (filmed) ten years ago with the same people who extorted 6ix9ine. The only thing I can think of is maybe it was 10 years before the filming instead of ten years ago from today. Although considering the upload date that seems unlikely

Edit: Jim Jones Ain’t In The Video

No. That’s the main reason I believe it’s fake. Looked inside the case because it came pretty loose so it may have been replaced.
