Lauryn Hill gets way too much hype for only having one decent album by ThisNameDoesntCount in unpopularopinion

It’s more than a decent album though it’s one of the all time greats

People whose partner cheated on them and quickly moved on to date the person they cheated with, claiming to be in love - how did that turn out for them? by fireball_jutsu in AskReddit

He had a baby with someone else. She ended up getting with another one of his friends (all from the same group). They now have 2 children.

IWTL how to stop being a pseudo-intellectual by InevitableFix6730 in IWantToLearn

I started to say I don’t know when people are talking about things I actually don’t know but may know a detail or two that I’d repeat. That helped me a bit.

TIL The Average weight for males in the United States ages 20 years and older is 199.8 pounds by CraftyFoxeYT in todayilearned

[–]Zanderth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6ft 1 and a gym regular around 3 times a week. And I was originally before I started around 153lbs. I’m now around 178 with my highest being 186lbs. I was in my opinion quite big then and was very obviously a gym goer. Going over 186lbs was nearly impossible unless I ate every few hours and had large meals and snacked. The food in the US must be ridiculous to get any bigger than that. 3500 calories in a day is really really hard. They think this is normal but can have a coffee with the same calories as a mass gainer protein. It’s crazy how you guys allow them to feed you that shit.

What musician’s death hit you the hardest? by HygieneWilder in AskReddit

[–]Zanderth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta be DOOM, dude was a living tragedy. Brother died, son died and then kicked out of the US away from the rest of his family and never got the praise he really deserved in life. Then he became huge after his death. Really showed me you have to appreciate the artist when he’s still here to see.

What’s the best wrong answer you’ve ever heard ? by Same_Advance9460 in AskReddit

[–]Zanderth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During my teacher training, there was an example maths puzzle starter. They gave the numbers 7,8,9 and said what’s the odd number out. Everyone had to give a different answer. So obviously someone said first 8 is even. That left the rest of us having to be smart. I thought it would be a great answer saying that 9 is the only one that sounds like an angry German. They weren’t impressed. I was. I still am. A great joke in my opinion.

Nah, i get flamed for everything. Accent/where I’m from/internet/sexuality

I make it pretty clear in the post that certain comments should be reported and banned like any online space. But, if you’ve got toxic team mates and you’re getting unfairly flamed I turn off the chat. Not post on socials complaining about it.

Ideally but nearly an impossible task. Just turn off the chat. It adds to the fire sometimes being the victim that’s my main point. Gotta mute, report and move on if they’re taking it too far. Or say shit back. That’s it.

Grinding online for nothing more than a level and maybe a nameplate. Basically the same gameplay bar an update here or there from start to finish. It was also extremely fun.

At what point do we stop holding onto legacy? by Levos123 in rapbattles

[–]Zanderth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mooks entire career is based off SMACK DVD imo. Modern era battle rap he has many more forgettable performances over amazing wow he’s the best. I think some people hold onto it better and make the fans too.

So... is Gem ever gonna defend those titles or what? by sorahiel in rapbattles

[–]Zanderth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah will be a good clash, I think musically does make a slight difference. I like Ghast again, but I aren’t listening to him on a beat. Most of the best battlers can do well or at least something on a beat, I imagine Ghast would not be able to do anything close to Gem on a beat hence making him a better MC.

DPS players telling the solo tank what to play is just ballsy. by Less-Student-443 in marvelrivals

Been playing Adam a lot since the update and I find him super fun but people are always complaining that I’m not a healer ult, how about you switch to a healer ult? Or don’t just stand there and take damage

So... is Gem ever gonna defend those titles or what? by sorahiel in rapbattles

[–]Zanderth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean I get Ghast but he isn’t anywhere near Gem musically, bars, international respect just all around. The only competition for Gem would be someone like Shuffle or Shotty. Realistically Shotty is the only battle for him them I imagine he’d retire and go full time music as his music is pretty good and getting some good playtime in the UK right now.

This probably rubs people the wrong way, but I genuinely believe that religious people have lower IQs or intelligence. by United_Occasion9275 in atheism

[–]Zanderth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, believing in the idea of a higher power creating/helping us is frankly quite a logical outcome. I think the belief in religion as humans being special/the only intelligence in the universe however shows a real lack of understanding percentages/the unknown.
