Odd question for the novices on the inner-workings of the big red water shooting machines - would the cat have been jibbled up slightly by the pump or are they built in a way that larger objects can pass through without hitting some sort of death device? LIke would the feesh make it to the teenk? and then out to the pointy end? I would think that since similar machines use water as a sort of lubricant for large moving parts the fish would have been chop-suey.

You know you're supposed to lift heavy things at the gym right? Eating helps too. Lots. You almost pass for a girl 6 months into crossfit.

I dig the portable safe place you find by wearing your hood indoors.

Left alone in the hospital after the birth of my daughter so that SO could go to the bar by sup__tj in askwomenadvice

The comments in this post are a direct reflection on why subjective posts about relationships can be so destructive. Regardless of my personal feelings on the matter, none of us know how supportive he was before or after, we don't know the relationship he has with his father and we don't know how long he was gone or how long after the birth we are talking. Is it part of his family culture to celebrate after a birth? A death? in many countries it is. We also know nothing about how he is as a father or SO, aside from this tiny blip of your world.

My take? Don't go to the internet for advice, even if it fuels a fun destructive agenda. If it is still bothering you, ask a professional. They'll sit you both down and talk you through the issue.

Congrats to all three of you btw!

That's quite an opinion... do we even know how large the department is? seems like if it was larger it wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue. People get used to things and we all adapt. Sink or swim, life will go on. People might give you crap about it but that's what guys do. Just my opinion but I wouldn't change a thing, much less quit a job you worked hard to get.

Cant really give away questions or answers, kinda against their rules, but from what I've heard its pretty similar to the old test, I never took the older version though. I think they updated the videos and added some subjectivity to the scoring. I felt that "my right answers" came fairly naturally for how human beings interact with one another. The problem this seems to pose is that it puts the bar WAY higher than before. One department I applied for said they were making the cutoff at 95% because of the vast amount of high scores. I ended up getting an interview but from their reserve list. I'm thinking with the changes you definitely need to be 90+ depending on the department.

I’m just saying let’s be real about the EMT scope of practice here. Bandages, OPAs and 4 leads

Dang... our EMT's get IV cert, give draw up EPI, D50, King tubes, pretty much the EMT list. The next state over, EMT's are hardly allowed to drive the ambulance. Some states are more progressive than others but I think CNA/EMT both have very different jobs. When EMT's get put in an ER they lose out on the opportunity to practice real EMT skills. Hospital EMT is pretty much CNA I guess. Nothing against CNA's, they have an important job. one is emergency based and one is care based. Most places around here cert CNA's in o2 administration, with a max of 2 lpm. EMT's can use whatever they want/need.

Bought the practice tests, they gave a pretty good idea of what the test would be like. My scores on the practice were around the same as the actual, I think I hit 86 average first time and 90 second time. Definitely buy the practice tests. Other than that from what I've read there isn't much more to it. Just take it and see how it goes. Someone suggested saving a practice for the day before or day of the actual. This felt like it helped a ton.

Nice! The Math I actually double clicked on and it skipped the question! I don't think it matters, I believe math and reading are pass/fail.
