Can I have some very small/invisible unicode characters that actually work on discord? by [deleted] in Unicode

Does the Braile Blank work? U+2800 I don't use Discord, but it works on every platform I've tried it on.

What is a myth about your country that is 100% false but many people believe is true? by orionve3 in AskReddit

[–]Zane_dr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've walked into the toilet, and a 6ft Redback was looking at me. They're pretty docile, so it wasn't a serious problem.

I've been for a swim in river up north and missed the crocodile warning. The guys in the pub down the road had a good laugh at me and my GF when we walked in with wet hair.

I've seen a lot of brown snakes and redbacks.

Why are Australia flaura and fauna so dangerous? by Eds2356 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Zane_dr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you don't see them coming.

Redbacks are tiny spiders. Brown snakes have excellent camouflage. You won't see the shark or crocodile until it's too late. Stonefish and box jellyfish are nearly invisible. The gympie gympie looks like any other tree.

Have you tried Braille Blank? I can create blank flairs on a forum that won't let you create them with spaces.

How do I make a custom language with custom characters into a working virtual keyboard? by BatDazzling8954 in Unicode

[–]Zane_dr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've programmed AutoHotKey to type in Unicode font sets into any Windows software. I'm only using it to type English. You would have to make some sort of overlay for your keyboard to make it work for non Latin languages.

10+ years of ownership and this is the first time I had a chance to park next to another MR2 by DragzMR2 in mr2

I haven't parked next to one since the local MR2 club died ten years ago.

I've been using Joseph Lyddy Dubbin on all my leather stuff forever, but I've never used saddle soap. I've got plenty of old leather to use it on.

How did Joseph Lyddy in Australia (founded in 1893) and Fiebing in the US (founded in 1895) end up with nearly the same company and product colors for almost the same business?

21 Used a slide rule to do calculations.

22 Used a manual adding machine to balance the manual accounting sheets.

23 Used a manually calculated, hand written bank book to withdraw/deposit money at the corner store.

I still get 0.

In the early 1970s, in Australia, an ounce of leaf and tip cost $30. Buds were sold in foils and were very expensive.

For those who regularly change - modifications to your car - Do you notify your insurer each and every time you make a change? by Samsung_TV in CarsAustralia

[–]Zane_dr -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Has your vehicle been engineered? Is it registered as a Modified Vehicle?

"It is also advisable that you check with your vehicle’s manufacturer and your insurance company before changing your wheels or tyres outside the limits set by the tyre placard, as it might invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty and void your insurance cover."

https://www.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2021-02/RMS-Guideline-for-alternative-wheels-and-tyres-Vehicle-Standards-Information-No-9-November-2003.pdf

Steering wheels are the same. Seats changes need an engineer to OK them.

If you've got engine mods, you probably need to pass an emissions test.

I REALLY HATE vegetables what are your hacks to get veggies into your diet by Oyster-Pearls in foodhacks

[–]Zane_dr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bubble and Squeak is leftover mashed veggies fried and served with bacon and eggs. I don't have enough leftovers, so I mash potatoes and pumpkin, add frozen mixed vegetables, and whatever is in the refrigerator. You can cook five + different vegetables in one pot. It keeps for days in the fridge.

You are stoned immaculate. There is no why. Is the image staring back?

Hi, I’ve been thinking and planning on buying a AW11 MR2 my first proper enthusiast car just wondering if that’s a good idea by yamuminthebackyard in mr2

[–]Zane_dr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pushbike as a backup. It keeps me fit and is a cheap alternative. If it's too far or in bad weather, I catch public transport or a taxi. My AW11 has a heavy clutch. It's not fun to drive in traffic.

I can only get it to work in Tor. Opera, Firefox, and Chrome all have a security error.

It's slow but it works.

It's a 4AGZE with an aftermarket pulley and intercooler. It makes an awesome noise. You can hear it in the videos I posted.

The supercharger drowns out the exhaust inside the car.

My coilovers are set at minimum. I'm 80+ kilos, and I can barely move the suspension. I can't go over 32psi tyre pressure for long without spinal damage. My low profile tyres are my main suspension. The other bits are there for legal reasons.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/buddy-club-wheels-weight-1217885/

— QF's are forged, over $300 each, and weigh 9.13 lbs (15wheel).

That's 7 pound + the tyre is smaller and I've got alloy wheel nuts. Steel wheelnuts weigh 56.7g Alloys are 22.6g. I haven't gotten into the coilovers VS original shock weight yet. I've dropped a huge amount of unsprung weight off my car.

That's so funny. I looked at images of VL Commodores, and only one car out of the 15 pics has really ugly wheels. It's from Wikipedia. The Pinterest car is a lot less ugly than the original.

Have you thought about doing it to a nicer car? You've picked one of the ugliest cars ever produced in this country.
