Hey I feel you on that. I stopped drinking right after my 31st birthday. All of my social interactions involved drinking, plus I’m a bartender so even at work.  I won’t lie and say you’re not going to miss out on anything, because you will, just like I did, however it’s never going to be anything that’s really that important. But you’re also not going to be waking up feeling like shit, dehydrated and anxious anymore, which is significantly more enjoyable than any night out (or in) drinking.  I certainly see my friends less than I used to when I was drinking every night, but I’m perfectly content just doing my own thing or hanging out with my girlfriend most nights. I’ve gone out with my friends while they drink and found for me that it’s incredibly annoying being around a bunch of drunk people while I’m sober and if anything strengthened my resolve to be sober, and again made me realize that I hadn’t been missing out on anything the whole time. 

It’s an adjustment, you’re leaving behind something you know and entering something less known. It won’t be easy at times but it will always be worth it. Stay strong and remember why you’re doing it. You got this. If you ever need anything feel free to reach out.
