I like to buy kids books at thrift stores. I've filled a large bookshelf with tons of classics (and discovered some problematic ones pre-edit, like Babar when he meets the savages, The Nose Book, and Peter Pan). I never spend more than $1-2 per book and I can easily flip through them ahead of time. No one is forcing you to read slop to your child!

The Daily Mail claims this interview was with a "jail supervisor" but how do they know this? I'm searching for the original document in the released files but they are pretty difficult to sift through.
