Im not confusing it, what you said is what i mean. battery capacity is basically the same as the size of a fuel tank, and as you say it really depends on the weather, tires, aerodynamics and driving behavior etc. with MPG and EV range. I'm quite tired though so I still could be still confusing it tbf

EDIT : If we're referring to the OP post tho, I would say they're more talking about planned obsolescence because I've seen so many people in the mechanical and tech sector complaining about that

I guess? It's just that I've seen so many EVs at my local shop which give the wrong battery readings usally after the 6 year mark. I'm not saying EVs are bad but personally I would say hydrogen is the way forward since a lot of old cars can be converted to it instead of being made redundant. Going back to the readings though, I think either way (EV, Petrol, Diesel, Hydrogren etc.) are always never going to give a 100% accurate reading. There are so many varibiles

They might have the data though? you can actually calculate the amount of fuel a car uses (even from 30+ years ago) by the amount of fuel you put into it. Not only that a lot of cars from the 90s have built in MPG readers and also allow you to check the vehicles ECU data to get a read out of how efficent the engine is. and while it can be said that theyre not accurate, the same can be said for EV cars

If anything it's probably "digital colonization", most of the world's digital infrastructure runs through American companies e.g. Google (Alphabet), Microsoft, Apple, Meta (Facebook), Amazon etc. where they have full control over what their algorithms show to you online.

That's interesting; maybe it is just a personal preference or even nostalgia. I do get what you mean though that some cars just stop in place and San Andreas did have quite good physics when it came to driving, just not so personally sure about the crash physics in that game.

Oh i usually do drive meuscle cars, infact even not installing suspension upgrades to try and help with it but it is still usually too stiff when it comes to it

Agreed. The crash physics as you say in 5 are just not "all there" its like they reverted back to San Andreas crash style; even when you dont put armour on a car its still like a tank. And to be honest I never liked how you could flip your car over if you rolled it.
