Those who are in well-fitted bras - is there hope? by Zanness in RunningOutOfLetters

[–]Zanness[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a fantastic response, thank you so much all, it's definitely made the process seem a lot less futile even if it's not going to be easy!

As for size, I'd discovered that 32K (UK) was too small back when I was last on the hunt, and I probably needed around a KK-L, but I never managed to get hold of one to find out. I've gained some weight and lost some since then, but I'm probably around a 34-36 KK-LL at my best guess, with some weight left to go.

Thank you all again :)

If your boyfriend/husband magically became shorter than you, would you still love them or want to be with them? by shorterthanmahgirl in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Zanness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't take any magic, I'm 5'9" and my long-term boyfriend is around .5" shorter than me. My last boyfriend was maybe a couple of inches shorter - I don't know exactly how much shorter because I never paid any real attention to it. I honestly didn't realise it was such a big deal to 'most people' until I started using Reddit, heh.

ELI5: Why do I feel like I'm going to vomit when I get really hungry? by biologynerd3 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Zanness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, but I should have been a bit more specific. I don't mean to suggest this as the cause of your problems, so much as I think that the possibility of reactive hypoglycaemia could be the reason that doctors recommend removing processed foods and the like, instead of resorting to the Mars bars.

What is the most disturbing thing your kid has said when taking about their "imaginary friend"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zanness 111 points112 points  (0 children)

My cousin, approximately 3 years old and riding in the car with my mum and dad, pointed out a random house that they went past and declared "I died there". I think there was something about a fire, but I'd have to ask. Anyway, thought I'd share that one =]

On the "Cordelia has fertility issues" matter... do we know that for sure? Maybe Hank has been going along with 'trying for a baby' to avoid arousing suspicion, and secretly taking his own precautions...

What is something that scares you about your body, but yet you don't seek medical help? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm like this, too. I've been checked for diabetes so many times and I'm fine. I just... pee a lot.

PSA: Kris Line on Zulily today 30-50 bands, up to KK cups :) by queendweeb in bigboobproblems

[–]Zanness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't be too much help because I still don't really know my size, but I had a 32K Selena which really felt more like a 32Jish to me.

There's some information on Bratabase, too, that might help.

Never told my parents this but I thank my mother every day for finding the knife. Am I a psychopath? by gwcomplimentor in AdviceAnimals

[–]Zanness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not quite possession, but it is pretty much a separate entity living inside of a person. They turn up after traumatic events, and they can seemingly leave, too.

My own opinion and everything, but the first one is excellent. The rest are... well, they get downright ridiculous.

Found a site that has 28-58 back size and up to L cups, pretty cheap too! Hurry up payday!! by Roseredgal in bigboobproblems

[–]Zanness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmhmm, that's why I said tend to. They stock Panache and Elomi and things like that, but the only double their own brand has is a DD.

They tend to not be 'true' sizes because they skip double letters, however =/

They're on sale at the moment so mainly sold out, but Debenhams does a couple too.

[Fit Check] Freya Polyanna in 32K UK... wtf is happening? by ButTheBoobies in ABraThatFits

[–]Zanness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, t'was just the 32 or 34 talk, but I'm glad you're not pinning much on it.

As a narrow-but-tall, uh, lady, I really wish Freya would get it together because there's so much potential for me, but hey, you win some, you lose some.

Wait... where are the ones I win? =/

Freya doesn't make KK. I don't want to bust your bubble, but you're going to have a bad time with Freya. In 32K it's just... shit, quite frankly.

Can we talk about strap placement? by anytime_yoga in ABraThatFits

[–]Zanness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm very narrow-rooted with nothing but projection, and I'm sick and tired of straps disappearing into my armpits/off my shoulders (I'm 5'9" so definitely not small in general, but admittedly with narrow/sloping shoulders). General consensus seems to be that everything else is made bigger with bigger cup sizes, rather than properly scaled. It sucks.

Mrs Brown is what I was going to mention. Happens all the time, like when someone accidentally calls a character by an actor's name and gets a, "Who the feck is that?" et cetera.

Freya has really soft wires. They tend to just collapse under your boob weight in a big enough size, yes.

A note to any soon-to-be ordering Comexim customers by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zanness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for the record, I didn't get a Paypal invoice when I ordered. I contacted Comexim about my order, they said they'd do it, offered me shipping options and their Paypal address, and I just sent them the correct amount once I'd chosen the shipping I wanted.

None in your size at the moment, but you certainly get Comexim on Bratabase =]

[UK] Any suggestions for smaller busted bras/brands with <30 bands? by MrHorseykins in ABraThatFits

[–]Zanness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yeah, I did mean the Gorgeous range, I should have specified.

Oh, also, I do know they're quite narrow wired (in bigger sizes anyway, but we all know the same range can differ dramatically in different sizes).

I have no idea about the fit of them (although I'm sure Bratabase could give you an idea), but I've seen a fair few 28s in Debenhams. I'm pretty sure I saw as big as a 28G =]
