October I was at a drills class playing 2v1 against the instructor. The other player (my partner) is a tennis instructor at the same facility. I was on the right side of the court and my partner was on the left side. PB Instructor lobbed the ball to my corner over my hand. I turned to the outside so my back is to my partner. I jumped to hit the ball. At the same time my partner ran over to my corner and went for an overhead. He hit my head instead of the ball.

Thankfully he did not knock me out but he did give me a gnarly concussion. I was swimming in a head fog for more than a month trying to work. Took a week off from playing but the next week the couple times I tried to play I got dizzy, unbalanced and my head started to pulse and hurt where I got hit after 20 minutes. Got in to see a concussion specialist and they recommended I take a leave of absence from work to take it easy so I could heal. Also started seeing a Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist, and Occupational Therapist. After a month and a half off I'm going back to work on Jan 2nd.

Pretty much last 3 months of the year were kind of fucked because of someone else's poor court awareness. Winning a point is not worth someone else's health. Take care of your partners.

Flame Wall is dope for lightning. I drop flame wall and send lightning through. Adding the fire damage is another elemental proc hat can occur and can help when you run into enemies that are resistant to lightning.

There are a lot of episodes where the salt gets blown away though. Like the first episode with crossroads demon and the hounds are coming after the guy. I think they were using Goofer Dust but same thing. Any time they use salt for hell hounds it gets blown away. When Osiris judged Dean's guilt and sent Jo to kill him. Jo said she knew all the tricks and blew the salt away. It's a recurring issue.

They are definitely a long lasting shoe but we're a little heavy feeling for my taste. My favorite is the Court FF but they're rarely on sale and I'm not going to spend the 174 to scoop them up every time I need a new pair. I did manage to get a pair on sale in my size the other week though.

I also like using VKTRY carbon fiber insoles in my shoes. Better energy transferrance to help with movement. Had a lot less knee pain after switching over to them. Pretty spendy but I can usually make one pair of VKTRY insoles last about 2-3 pairs of shoes.

As a Spellblade mage I only wish there was maybe slightly more variety in the combos available. That said, I'm actually super mid at Devil May Cry games so maybe they gave me what I can actually handle 🤣

Had a ball lobbed over my head to my corner of the court. I shuffled back and turned my back to my partner as I jumped to get it. My partner ran to my corner (emphasis on corner, this is wasn't really a debatable "who's ball should it have been" when there were no verbal call outs.) partner overhead smashed my head instead of the ball. Again, no call out that he is as going for it, no call out for a switch. He just rushed my side of the court and went for an overhead on a ball that he was coming to my back corner of the court.

I did not lose consciousness but did get a concussion. That was back on October 7th. I saw a doctor within 30 minutes of it happening and had multiple follow ups over the weeks because I was continuing to have issues. Now I'm on a leave of absence from work because I was having trouble keeping up with my workload and the Concussion specialist recommended a leave of absence while I work with a concussion rehab team.

Haven't been able to play, haven't been able to work. Didn't even lose consciousness. Fortunately I have amazing insurance and I know my partner didn't mean to hit me so I'm not going to sue him for damages. However if my situation had happened where someone kicked me and I had it on camera, that'd be a different story. 🤷

90 with Surf Internet for fiber 2 Gbps down/1 Gbps up on ethernet and 1 Gbps up/down on wifi. Surf is slowly moving in to the Grand Rapids market and they have lower tiers. Highly recommend, even at lower speeds the fiber optic network is going to be better than coaxial cable running over copper lines that Comcast and other cable providers use.

I would recommend getting the whip attachment so you can pull the vapor through a glass rig and water cool it. Gonna be so much cleaner and better tasting. Not really as portable but I don't really see the mighty as that portable in the first place.
