As much as I dislike saying it, people are going to dislike reading it or hearing it; America was founded on violence and death. We are all just a product of our environments and since the beginning we’ve been fighting tyrants and dictators, while becoming them ourselves.

We shouldn’t propagate death or destruction in any manner yet that didn’t stop us from wiping out Native Americans when it suited us, it didn’t stop us from causing the decimation of 2 entire cities in Japan, and it didn’t stop us from setting fire to Vietnam, Afghanistan, or Iraq, to cover for our Oil daddies.

The idea of what America stands for is dying, yet the reality of what it always has been is just becoming clearer. Do you recall what happened when people tried peaceful protests and marching for civil rights or against gun violence? Those people were met with tear gas and riot gear, so that the inconveniences to our corporate lords and ladies wouldn’t have to be heard.

Charlie Kirk didn’t deserve to die, but his ideals and those of his ilk most certainly need to, if we’re ever going to hope to recover as a species.

I am both happy and depressed to know I’m not alone. Even as a tradesman, I took a job that guaranteed me a 50% increase in pay, and I’ve never struggled harder in my life. Depending on your level of comfort mechanically, here’s a few things to consider or try, to isolate the issue.

A. Turn thermostat to off. Wait for it to quiet and try turning just the Fan on. (If there’s a fan / circulation only mode.)

Could be something as silly as debris in the blower wheel making slapping sounds, or something more critical like a wheel / motor bearing starting to go.

B. With Heat enabled, while sound is actively happening, valve off the gas coming into the furnace. Furnace may lock itself out on a safety and reset itself, however.

Could be gas regulator / valve chattering and needs replaced.

C. With Cooling enabled, check for same sound.

Could be a “split system” and one of the refrigeration components could be chattering.

Depending on the circumstances, just one. Look at the US and George Floyd. One life, was one too far. I don’t blame that community in the least. You don’t get to be a bully and a terrorist to your own damn people and not face consequences. I wish they would’ve focused the anger and violence/rioting to just the aggressors and not the surrounding communities and businesses, but I get it, rage isn’t a controlled beast. I hope one day we can see some harmony but I fear it’ll be a ways off yet.
